i did not like my stay at all, it was just me and my son i felt so unsafe. Not to mention i found cockroaches as soon as i seen that i started putting all our stuff in the wagon to carry back down and to leave. Also when we went up the elevator the first time the elevator doors got stuck.. and again it was just me and my 2 year old soon we just came from disney world decided to stop in myrtle beach cause it was tough driving 14 hours straight home with my 2 year old.

Residential Homeless Shelter!!!
When I arrived, I went to use the restroom in the lobby. It was disgusting. I knew we were going to have a problem. They allowed us check in early. I was grateful for the that. When we walked to the elevator, I knew we made a horrible mistake( pictures included). We open the door and I felt like I was in a residential homeless shelter. I immediately started to itch and the room smelt of mold. The bedroom had a bay window facing the hallway. This meant people see us on the bed. The door barely shut and a screw was holding the door knob on. The tv in the living room was sitting on a table the tv mount was on the wall. When we looked under the table, the plaster, wall and cords were on the floor and falling out the wall. We contemplated staying and agreed we couldn’t. We went downstairs and spoke to the front desk and showed them the pictures. We were informed we couldn’t not get a full refund because we booked through hotels.com. If the company false advertises we should be able to get our money back. The manager offered us a room with double beds. That room was better but not what we wanted. We survived these accommodations for two nights. I will never go there again !! They need to be condemned. Hotels.com you should tour all venues before you advertise.

The rooms are not as listed on the third party site. We stayed in the penthouse, when we first arrived we were notified no dishes or pans to use, we would need to get our own. We thought we could use the kitchen facilities in the unit, stove, microwave, and dishwasher didn't work. Notified management of the issues with the kitchen as well as the air not working. They fixed the ac but nothing else. They didn't offer a discount or another room to stay in. Overall a terrible experience as we felt we were not listened too and didn't get what we expected.

From the moment I walked in the staff was friendly and ready to help. Michael from the front desk helped with check-in and were quick and friendly. I wish more places had staff that works as hard as they do to help the guests. Overall, our stay was great. Thank you.

I didn’t like anything about our stay period. I want to put all of you guys on notice if you’re planning on traveling to Myrtle Beach.. This place was disgusting people was smoking weed, shady characters walking around the hotel it didn’t feel safe.. I was floored when they said we don’t do housekeeping, I had to go to front desk to request broom Dustpan, toilet paper etc.. It was an impromptu trip for my wife didn’t do my homework should’ve researched it but I’m telling you DO NOT STAY HERE you’ve been warned.

the floors were absolutely disgusting, all of our feet were black from walking on the floor with socks on, the room (701) didn't lock we didn't use the key card to get it to begin with. there was a LOT of traffic coming from the room across the hall which made the door shake all through the night. i had to out our bag in front of the door because of the wind shaking it also. i felt absolutely unsafe the kids did not leave the room until we left the hotel all together. the elevator felt and sounded like it was going to brake and the ceiling part was being held up by zip ties. the carpets through the halls were stained. there was homeless people all over, one of which we caught digging through the trash cans. there was a room on the way to ours that was completely trashed and the bed was stained like crazy and it stayed that way the whole time we were there. we then thought we left something and went back hours later after it had clearly been cleaned and was able to walk right in again with no key when a staff member came to the door and asked us how we got in and we told her and she did not seem very shocked. you get was you pay for i suppose. its one of the cheapest ones however at the time of checkout the lady informed me that there would now be a $200 cash deposit because people are crazy there, i replied with "im glad i missed that" and she replied with "i wouldn't have charged you, i cant tell you weren't any trouble"

The hotel is extremely outdated and poorly maintained. Ripped carpets, old and unsafe elevator, rooms extremely outdated yet very clean. The experience was very disappointed, very far from my expetations.
