Quite Retreat
Wonderful outdoor experience and a quiet place to stay off the grid. Great place for hiking and to see nature. Downside was the long drive getting into town which required advance planning and patience. The house was very nice, clean, and nicely laid out both inside and out. Large wraparound porch and plenty of sitting/entertainment area. Included a well laid out garden.

We enjoyed a weekend at this lovely cottage. We’d recommend The Creek for anyone seeking a well maintained place in the mountains for a quiet retreat from routine or city life. The cottage is clean and tidy, and the beds super comfy. We enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen and grill to cook all our meals; no need to break retreat and venture the 12 miles into town for restaurants. Once you are there, the quiet and beauty will draw you in and you won’t want to leave. There is something for all nature lovers: short and long walks, the creek itself, songbirds, wildlife, and deck chairs for sitting back and taking in all the beauty. It’s a great place for a couple as well as for families with kids of all ages.

Great cozy spot
My husband and I were in town visiting family and this was a great option for us and our fur babies. While it is a bit of a drive from town, if you are looking for a quite place to get away this is it. Internet service was excellent and this was the cleanest house we have ever rented. It’s small but was plenty big for us.

Perfect getaway
If you are looking for a great getaway, this is the place to go. Beautiful cabin and property. Took my father and family to check on a property he is buying in the area and we where so comfortable at the cabin that we ended up just spending all our time there. Even with it raining most of the trip the cabin and views from front porch still made the trip worth while. This is definitely a vacation that we would like to take again if we can. Host was very polite and helpful. If you have an opportunity definitely book this trip take it you will not regret, just be ready for the drive through the mountain road to the cabin LoL. It's an adrenaline ride , especially if you are coming in at dark. Thank you very much this was the greatest trip I could have took my son on for his first vacation. He loved the spider swing.

Paradise on Earth
If your goal is to get away from it all, clear your mind, refocus and enjoy the beauty of nature - look no further, this is the place! Getting there is an experience itself - but Bev provided unmistakable, fool proof directions ( I am glad I did not have to drive in the dark! :) ) .- but it was absolutely worth it! I had planned hitting the trails in nearby parks, but decided I got to stay instead. I swear I tried all the swings, rocking chairs.... This is the most relaxing vacation I have had in the longest time. The house is super clean and absolutely charming. I lost my cell phone service after getting there, but was able to use wifi for communication. So I did not miss it at all. The night sky was absolutely amazing - I did not see the milky way, but the stars were breathtaking and the lightning bugs added the special effect. Thanks for the amazing,, relaxing time!!!

Adorable!
My husband and I had a wonderful long weekend at the little house on the creek. We took our dirtbikes and rode the gravel trails, and relaxed on the porch and listed to the creek in the evenings. We will definitely be back... it was the perfect rural getaway that we both needed to recharge.

The property is exactly as described. We had a great time staying in such a peaceful, beautiful place and can’t wait to come back again! The host has thought of everything a person may need for the perfect visit right down to the thoughtful and yummy treat of leaving us an RC Cola and a miniature Moon Pie. We enjoyed everything about this place!

Our Stay At "The Creek"
This rental is awesome. We loved it....and the area. My favorite rental so far! You can stay here forever and wouldn't be bored if you love nature. The fall colors surrounding the property were outstanding!...it felt like we were in a picture you only see in puzzles. The house was clean and stocked with all the necessities... and then some. We would love to come back to see and do more! The creek/branch was so peaceful sounding and the drive from the main road to the property was just beautiful in the fall! Thanks for sharing!

It was a little far back in the woods from main road…. But was great working on the bridge still… might put a dusk to dawn light at side yard by creek as it so dark if need to go out in later evening just suggestion… the owners are great thank you for relaxing time did pumpkin fest in Allstadt and 4x4 riding at black stone an south fork 😊😊😊😊😊great time perfect 👍

Great place to get away from it all. Bailey our dog loved roaming around smelling all the country smells. Great hiking trails within a hours drive. Great 4x4 riding around the roads around farm house.
