Two-bedroom, two-bath condo with magnificent ocean views from your 24' x 6' balcony over looking the ocean. Property features include: cable with 2 flat screen TVs, DVD player, WIFI, direct beach access, and 2 outdoor pools. Sleeping arrangements include: one king and two twin beds, plus a queen-size sleeper sofa. Linens for the king and two twin beds are included but guests must bring their own queen-size sleeper sofa linens. In-suite washer and dryer, updated kitchen with microwave, ceramic top stove, and dishwasher. Plenty of parking.

Great place, elevator, ocean front, ice maker didn't work and it would have been nice to know in advance since seems the owner knew, as the last thing after a long drive, unpacking, etc, to have to back out for a bag of ice. This condo was on the second floor and we can watch the sunrise every morning on the balcony. We did not have to leave the house to be in the beach if we did not want to. Bring your own launry detergent, dishwasher soap, bath soap and shampoo.

We love the location and view from our Pierview condo. This was our second year at this complex. The condo is the perfect size for us. The view is terrific and you're within walking of Jeannette's Pier. We love our morning coffee on the deck, watching the ocean. Thank you for the stay!

Our bad luck.
Unfortunately hurricane Debby came North along the Atlantic Coast and flooded South Nags Head and in particular around the Whalebone Junction area. We evacuated Wednesday Morning when tornado warnings were posted. This bad luck was coupled with the break down of the elevator and we were on the third floor and had to hand carry all our luggage, groceries for the week, and beach things down the three flights of steps to load the car and evacuate. More bad luck.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY & STAY HERE!!!
First of all, no one before we arrived told us the elevator was broken. We saw the managers, Mike & Lisa, and asked them when the elevator would be fixed. They said they were waiting for a sensor. Well, we came on a Saturday and left on a Saturday and the elevator still was not fixed!! We had to walk up and down 3 flights of stairs all week!! There were disabled people there that had to do the same thing! Also, the room was dirty, especially the bathroom! It really ruined our vacation!! I was extremely disappointed! Please, take it from me, go somewhere else to stay!!!!!!!! I will never, ever stay here again!! Also, booking this room was deceiving! I wasn't aware we were booking through Vrbo! They charged us $500.00 in extra fees!! Book directly through a hotel and save yourself money!!!!

The property's elevator was out of service for our entire stay.We weren't notified of this fact. My husband is disabled, and found it very difficult to go up and down flights of stairs. Had we known we would have cancelled our reservation. The condo had a long rust stain running down the wall in the living room, and there were no appropriate butcher knives or paring knives to use. Also the ice maker in the fridge didn't work. There were several elderly couples staying at Pierview, the elevator being out of order was not acceptable. They could have at least had someone there to help with luggage. The lift was helpful, but not enough for the amount of couples arriving and leaving at the same time. We won't be staying here again. We certainly didn't get what we payed for!

I had stayed at Pierview several years ago and it was excellent, not so much this time, the property has definitely been neglected. I was made aware before we arrived that the elevator was down but the part had been located and hopefully would be fixed soon, we never even saw anyone working on it, so needless to say hauling luggage and beach supplies up the steps was no fun. Once in our unit we discovered the ice maker didn't work and the outlets in the kitchen area kept tripping and couldn't be used. I tried multiple times to reach someone to report these issues but nobody ever responded, I'm glad we didn't have an emergency, we would have been on our own. If these issues weren't enough we also had bugs in our unit, I didn't even attempt to contact anyone because I already knew I wouldn't get a response. This property has definitely gone down hill and I would not stay there again.

I was not the one staying at the property- I rented this condo for my parents as a 50th wedding anniversary gift. They had only good things to say. They reported the outside of the building was a tad run-down, but that the inside was wonderful! They really enjoyed the balcony and spent a lot of time out there. Communication with the property managers was easy! They'd stay there again.

Breathtaking view from the living room /balcony and primary bedroom! We only had one good "beach" day but because of the location and view it did not matter. The sunrises are spectacular! We did see pelicans and dolphins. It was quiet and comfortable. Would stay again just for the view.

Old Condo with Great Ocean View
Condo is old but was fairly clean. The balcony is spacious with good seating and excellent views to watch the dolphins and ocean. Utensils were sparse, need forks, spoons and knifes. One twin bed was a little sandy and the bathtubs would not drain. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Not having the major broadcasting stations was difficult. Bathroom and bedroom for second person really need attention (especially the bathroom- walls, sink, tub, moldings. ) Outlets in that bedroom didn't work well, either. Also, should have been cleaner, especially in corners, door tracks.

The condo was nice in a great beach location and had all the amenities. The building itself is old and crumbling. The elevator was dirty and didnt work sometimes. From the beach one can see the rusting re-rod along the balconies. The management was super nice.
