Location is great. Bed and bath comfortable. BUT i did not like not being able to communicate with owner. There is no whats app. Like all the othe places i have stayed. We had a major water leak in our room and noone responded to my emails. Overall its a fancy hostle

The room was in bad shape. The walls had holes and stains all over. This room def had some miles on it. The sofa had crumbs on it and they neglected to clean it. I don’t think they laundry the blankets as it had new stains on them. Seems like they just fold them up after each guest. The hot water was turned off at night in the entire building. The on demand hot water system was powered off and they walked me through turning it on. However, in the morning, the hot water system malfunctioned so no one in the building could shower.

This property was terrible. We had high hopes with the reviews but we got everything the negative reviews had mentioned. The room was dirty, water all over the bathroom floor, the hot water didn’t work, and the lights did not switch off in the room. So we had to sleep with the lights on all night. The reception said she would look into a refund and as soon as we left they said no refund. I would not recommend this place at all.

We had a great stay at B&B Grand Archivio! The staff “Lucio” was so friendly and helpful for our stay. He pointed out all the good parts of his city for us to explore. The place was very clean and adjacent to a great pizza place next door. Super close to good shopping walking areas. I would highly recommend this place to stay while visiting Naples.

I highly recommend this B&B. A great room, a good size, recently decorated and it was very clean. Lucio was very helpful, arranging taxi transfers, giving good advice about trips and restaurants. An ideal location for historic Naples.

Lucio runs a really lovely place.... Spotlessly clean, comfortable, modern, very well located in the centre of the historical area and within walking distance of the main station, lovely breakfast, quiet and safe. I had the best nights sleep for ages! But what really stands this place out is what you really hope for in a B&B (over a hotel) and that is a very hospitable owner. Lucio clearly prides himself in running a friendly establishment. Nothing is too much trouble. And he takes the time to offer great local recommendations for sightseeing, restaurants and nightlife, and to engage with his guests. I can't recommend this B&B highly enough... it's your home away from home in Napoli!

We had a fantastic stay with Lucio. His quirky, fun BnB in a nice old building is close to everything, comfortable and spotlessly clean. He is extremely helpful, charming and laid back. He gave us recommendations and ordered a taxi for us to the airport, provided maps and routes to walk. He got the mixture of being available to guests but giving you privacy as well, just right. We used the breakfast room to eat a takeaway dinner one evening and it was no problem. As the room was to the back of the house and the rooms were in different wings of the building, we had quiet nights. The foam beds were a bit hard for us and my very tall partner had to navigate the tiny shower and toilet a bit carefully, but we were very happy overall! So glad we stayed here and we would love to come back. Cheers

We are so glad we met Lucio! He is an excellent host, and we enjoyed our stay very much. Lucio met us at check in and explain the room, the breakfast, and then provided a map and spent 15 minutes making suggestions of what to see and where to go in Naples. Lucio made wonderful breakfasts and excellent cappuccinos, and was always friendly and made us feel welcome. He was also willing to hold our bags after check out and meet us at the B&B late at night to collect our bags. We really loved the location of this B&B: It is just a block away from Via San Gregorio Armeno (the “Christmas Alley”) and just a few blocks away from the Duomo di Napoli and some of Napoli’s most famous pizzerias (Di Matteo, Antica Da Michele, etc.). It’s about a 15-minute walk from the Napoli Centrale train station for the Circumvesuviana, or a 15-minute walk the other direction to the ferry terminal. Our thanks to Lucio for a wonderful stay and excellent hospitality.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at B&B Grande Archivio. The location is on a small street close to central Naples. About a 15 minute walk from Napoli Centrale train station. The streets may seem scary at first if you are used to nice tourist locations but it's really just what all of Naples looks like. The city is gritty but otherwise it's like most other highly urbanized cities. Just be aware of your surroundings as you should in any new location and stick to the big streets and you'll be fine. Check in was super easy. Lucio handles the front desk and care of the guests. Prior to arrival, he messaged me via email so that he could be available at my expected arrival time. The B&B has space to keep your luggage in case you arrive super early and can not check in yet. Lucio is wonderful, thoughtful, and extremely helpful. On the first night, my party actually left our large luggage and packed a bag to go spend the night in the Amalfi coast. Lucio messaged me on WhatsApp the next day as he was concerned that our beds were left in the exact state as they were when we arrived. I felt so bad! He was concerned that something happened to us. Upon our return, Lucio provided many great suggestions of what to do and where to eat. The fried pizza from the pizzeria right next to the B&B was delicious and recommended by Lucio. This B&B was everything that I expected it to be. It had everything that I needed to have a comfortable stay.

Lo mejor que tiene es la localización. Las paredes son de papel, la TV no funcionaba, el grifo y mampara de la ducha estaban rotos y la comunicación con el personal es prácticamente imposible (decían que no habían recibido mi documentación, a pesar de que ellos mismos me habían enviado emails respondiendo al mail en el que estaba todo adjuntado…).

Personale quasi assente, stanza che lascia insoddisfatti.. stanza rossa con armadio pieno di muffa e crepe in bagno, l’odore sgradevole di muffa resta sui vestiti. Pulizie a tratti. Ottima zona, peccato, andrebbe valorizzato di più.
