The stay was lovely. I hadn't done my homework as to where it was so it was quite a walk away from the places I needed to go some days, but the quality of the room was amazing. Loved my stay there.

The room was perfect. Very big with everything to cook a meal, great reception, no complaints. The reason for the 2 above is that the whole city is noisy and chaotic. But we saw so much beauty that it was worth it. This place is also very close to Pizzeria Pellone where Anthony Bourdain visited, and walkable to the train station so we saved a lot on taxi fare. I would wholly recommend Famalu Apartments.

Property itself was very good, modern , clean and perfect for a family of 4. The only downfall was it was a little bit of a walk to get to the restaurant area. Naples is quite a dirty place so not what we were used to having travelled on many other parts of Italy. Accomodation was good and we were very comfortable. Staff were very helpful and prompt in communication also. We only stayed one night and would stay there again.

Noisy!
Nice apartment would be good for a long stay. The location is near the train station —about 5-7 minutes walking— which is convenient if you are using Naples as a jumping off point to travel to other places but it is not a nice area. If you are taking airport transfer, it drops you off in the same area and that made the experience in Naples smooth. However, It is extremely noisy at all hours of the day and night from inside the room.

I cannot say enough good things about the welcome and service we received during this stay! The apartment is located very conveniently to the train station. The apartment itself is very lovely and we even received a morning welcome of pastries! Cannot recommend it enough!

Like: proximity to train station (Napoli Centrali) and airport. Place is actually nice inside. It is clean and spacious. We stayed at Porta Carbonara. Minor issues: toilet seat needs to be fixed. It was uncomfortable when you sit and it moves on you. It felt like you would fall into the toilet. Little trash can cover by the commode doesn’t work and can easily be replaced. Shower: I am not sure why the hot water stops after 5 mins?. All 3 days we were there, I did not wash my hair for fear of running out of hot water. My son thinks it might be because other people are flushing their toilet? Anyways, all these are minor things and could easily be fixed. The B&B is right next to Cafe Angelo. We had a little bit of difficulty locating the door entrance at first. Marilu is always quick to respond to messages and even booked a Taxi for us for 3:45am.

An absolute perfect location. A block from the Colosseum, lots of amazing restaurants, very walkable. Safe location. The apartment was large, and very Italian, very cute. Couch was uncomfortable; cushions always slid from couch seat. Shower was a bit small. There is an iron in the unit but no ironing board.
