The perfect location to enjoy Narbonne
I booked two months in this location and hated to leave! The hosts are wonderfully accessible for any potential confusion, as well as being genuinely lovely people!
The apartment is well-stoked with anything you might need: towels, bedding, hair dryer, cooking utensils and cookware. Everything is clean and modern and fits nicely into its place. There is a washer/dryer combo in the garage as well as an iron and ironing board.
There are two easy to get to grocery stores, and a lovely boulangerie and wine cave within a block or two. Also, the train station is a five minute walk, and there is a bus stop around the corner. I initially chose Narbonne because of the train station and the ability to get around. It was a good choice as I used it a LOT!
I’m picky about bed comfort, and this one was just fine! There is a ton of storage for clothing, food and condiments, and cleaning supplies.
The weather was super most of my trip, so I got to enjoy the private deck a lot! The grill is easy to use and there are all the tools so you just need to provide the food.
I travelled as a single woman and felt very safe and secure. Narbonne’s historic district is a ten-fifteen minute walk and there are plenty of restaurants and places to shop. If you are a history buff, the museums are great—especially the Narbo Via—and there is a Roman archeological site right around the corner.
I didn’t make it to the seaside, but there is a bike available to borrow and a spot for a car in the garage.
It was easy to feel at home, and I hated to leave. However, I’m hopeful to book another month or so soon! I highly recommend this location, this apartment, and these hosts.
Everything was great! I couldn't give a better recommendation and wish I could hand out more stars for the quality and livability of this rental!
