This hotel is worn down and in need of updating. It was extremely busy the entire time and did not lend itself to being the cleanest facility. It is very convenient and walkable to many things in downtown Nashville including Country Music Hall of Fame and Broadway. Breakfast was good but again, the cleanliness of the dining area and worn out furniture did not make it the best experience.

I’m sure the hotel is a fabulous place to stay but unfortunately my plane was delayed to reach my connecting flight to this destination. Was to arrive at 7:30 pm in Nashville. No more flights from DesMoines until 6:30 the next morning. I was at 5 hours to cancel the hotel and it required 6 hours. Called the hotel and they couldn’t help me because I booked through Expedia. Virtual help on Expedia only reviewed what I had booked. Now I’m out $200 for this hotel and had to get a hotel where I was stuck overnight. Not the hotels fault or problem but seems kinda unfair with no help from Expedia. I use Expedia for multiple destination trips a year. Unfortunate circumstances and timing.

Issues with being a tired property
The property is in a good location and the rates reflect that. However, it is a bit tired. Our room was in need of repairs that clearly had been ignored. The toilet seat was very loose which would have been an easy 5 minute repair and clearly a problem that any house keeper would have noticed. The second issue was just as obvious but a more difficult repair. The bathroom door was a sliding barn door. It couldn't close properly because it drug on the floor one it got about 1/4 closed. You needed to lift the door outward with both hands to slide it further and then there were huge gaps on the sides. Why weren't these repaired ages ago? The front desk is poorly staffed and you often wait long times for service.

The place was extremely clean. Breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff was great! The furniture in the lobby could use some repair. If you rent a room, Do Not rent a balcony room. It was so loud on Saturday night, between the cars revving their motors and racing down the street until 4:00-5:00am in the morning. I got maybe 2 hours sleep that night. I had an extremely important event on Sunday and I felt lousy. We asked to change our rooms and the gave us earplugs, which I already had but it did not help. The door to the balcony was kind of not completely able to close and not at all soundproof.

Construction around the hotel made it inconvenient to get to the front. Door to check-in. The dirtiness in the streets and sidewalks not only around the hotel but the whole area really needs to be addressed not by the hotel, but by the city in Nashville. The Homeless population migrating and trash spilling over onto the hotel property is a turn off.. That being said I did see workers cleankng the hotel grounds, which was appreciated. The hotel it's self was clean and staff was friendly amd helpful. I do wish the mini bar was open more then it was. I would stay here again.

Great spot. Right downtown but still not on main drag. Staff excellent. Thanx Alex for hair dryer and fan! Quiet rooms. Clean. Good breakfast. I will return

Convenient place to stay overnight if you’re going to the Ascend amphitheater. Room was great and nice enough staff. Only complaint— the valet got greasy handprints all over my car. I’m talking grimy steering wheel, on the windows inside and out, on the instrument panel… there were even droplets dried on the windshield and steering column like someone sneezed a milkshake in there. Gross.

It was decent, room had small issues such as a slightly squeaky bed. Bathroom sink was small and water would splash all over.
