Located just a short drive from town, you can enjoy the best of both worlds – the peace and solitude of the great outdoors, combined with easy access to local attractions and activities.

Our cabin is located on 18 acres features a fully-equipped kitchen, three comfortable bedrooms (plus a loft bedroom), a cozy living room with a fireplace, a media & game room, patio with hot tub and grill, a sun room perfect for dining or relaxing and enjoying the views, and 2 covered porches perfect for enjoying the fresh air and taking in the beauty of nature. The house and property were perfect for us with plenty of space to spread out. The children’s toys and books were an amazing surprise! Our kids were very excited seeing the deer crossing the drive up to the house.

A wonderful family memory banked forever!

I stay in roughly 25 different places per year due to work. I must say this was one wonderful place to stay. We all have very fond memories still of our work-cation this past December. The kids loved playing pool while I loved sitting in the sunroom looking into the woods while drinking my coffee. We had fun in the hot tub when it was freezing cold outside. Such a neat place. We live in the country on a 30 acre farm and this just felt like home in the woods. I would recommend having a king size bed on the main floor and maybe the queen bed upstairs. Other than that it’s was perfect to me! (:

The perfect Cabin!

This cabin is absolutely perfect, truly a rustic cabin with modern amenities. We absolutely loved this place and the property is beautiful and secluded yet still fairly close to everything. The hosts are top notch and by far the best hosts we’ve rented from. They are the epitome of southern hospitality. The cabin is well furnished and the decorations are really give it that rustic vibe. We are so glad we chose Oakwood Hideaway, it was the perfect place to relax, take in some nature and see the sights. We are already looking in to when we can return. If you choose Oakwood Hideaway you will not be disappointed.
