I booked a room through Expedia for my dog and I. We had been driving for 2 days and needed a place to lay our heads. The website says that you are pet friendly and my dog is exceptionally well trained. I paid through Expedia on our way there, just minutes away, and then when I got there the lady at the desk was rude. She never smiled at me and didn’t make eye contact. She got on the phone and called someone but I couldn’t understand what she was saying as I don’t speak that language. She got off of the phone and said that I was going to have to pay an additional $150 for my dog. I never saw that on the website and I was tired and wanted a nice place to lay my head. I told her never mind and we left. I never have had the $95 refunded from Expedia, probably because I didn’t get the insurance because I was minutes away. My dog and I have stayed at many hotels through the country and have never been treated this way. Quality Inn has always treated us great at every other location but I will never forget the way this employee treated us.
