Only one elevator worked and people were stuck on floors trying to get down in the morning. Made me late for a meeting. Hotel staff didn't care. I emailed with someone and again they acted like they did me a favor for allowing me to stay. Done with Marriott for good.

Don’t book here right now
We couldn’t sleep in. They had construction the whole time so loud. Sounded like they were goin to drill into our room. Elevators took so long. They had 4 and only two worked. Had two almost 15-20 mins. Will Never go back again

Beautiful views close to live music and bars. Close enough to walk and seems like a safe area. The upstairs bar had a birthday party reservations for the majority of the upstairs lounge and bar. The few tables were all taken when we went up for a night cap to relax before heading to bed. The staff was unable to find a chair for us to sit down and relax so I sat on the floor with my old fashioned cocktail. It was good but the seating was not.

Ok enough!
The hotel/room themselves were fine. I think we were missing the sofa or a chair, since there was a large open area. The construction on the lower floors started around 9 a.m. each morning, which was fine and didn't affect us. The thing that stood out the most was the lack of customer service by some of the staff. The front desk staff weren't very welcoming when we first arrived or when we had questions. And, although we were given a late checkout, we had 2 different room service staff members knock on our door, one letting themselves in before we were able to open it. It was very disconcerting, given we still had a couple hours left. The level of customer service could have been better!

The Staff was helpful and "The Library" restaurant was very good. However, the room rate was MUCH higher than I thought I was paying and the daily parking fees were outrageous!! Plus, the parking area for valet was 5 blocks away and it took 20 minutes for you to get your car.

We have stayed here many times before and enjoyed it. Now there is construction and 2 elevators are closed, which caused waits to be 10-30 minutes. There was LOUD hammer drilling starting at 8am on the dot every morning. The garage is closed so valet has to park 5 blocks away which causes pickup wait times of 40mins at checkout.
