I’ve experienced 3 of the Atlantis properties and I was not impressed with the rooms at the Royal at all. The rooms need to be deep cleaned and upgraded. Spiders were found in my room multiple times. Stains on the walls, dirty bathtub, stained bath towels, shower head needs to be replaced and just overall below average room conditions. However the staff, absolutely Amazing. Super kind and warm.

The most beautiful resort. Few things that were disappointing were that not all food places were open and there were times and days when they were open. Felt limited for food options. Also, you cannot use your food prepaid/credit to pay for gratuity and VAT. That seemed unreasonable. Will definitely visit again but will not purchase more than $50 per day for food credit as you still need to pay on top and not all food places are open in resort.

We were not satisfied with our so called “upgrade” from Expedia. We book a room at the Royal hotel at Atlantis. We got an email the day or check in stating we had been upgraded to the Cove. Not happy at all about that!! We specifically wanted the Royal due to all the activities that were there. The Cove caused us more delays in time and had to walk or shuttle to get to everything!! Why would they change us without asking first??? Not happy at ALL!

I tripped on my first day here over a door stopper placed directly in front of the bathroom which in unnecessarily placed with my shoes. On my last day I tripped again twice but this time fractured my pinky toe. This should be taken into account and considered being removed for future guests.
