Atlantis has become our ideal family vacay spot-5 visits in 3 years! Every time we come we are amazed with new discoveries. The property is constantly upgraded and maintained and every year there is something new added. Were there mid December and got to enjoy the holiday decor. Bathroom doors does not stay shut. Toilet was loose and tank was continuously running through the night. Bathtub paint was peeling. Most importantly, door to adjacent room is extremely thin, allowing you to hear the neighbors every conversation.

Property was just ok...upon entering room, door was stuck and hard to open or close...there was no shower curtain in bathroom as housekeeping forgot to replace after cleaning room from last guest...the room we were given was part of an adjoining room and you could hear everything from the room...the rug could have used a cleaning as it had stains on it...for the amount of money to stay there, I expected more.

Overall, property was large enough with an ample amount of activities. Housekeeping was great! Wonderful upkeep. Majority of staff were welcoming and some not so welcoming. Nobu waiter was not attentive nor customer service friendly considering it is a five star restaurant. No refills asked, no communication except for the first time ordering. Waiter seemed to walk past without asking how the food was and did not ask for refills and if we wanted to order anything else. Seemed like that specific waiter may need better customer service training and skills. Specifically noted it was reserved for a birthday, hostess also commented that we were here for a birthday, however waiter did not seem to mention nor care. Waiter seemed to pick and choose with whom he wanted to become attentive with. Unacceptable. Train the Nobu employees better as they seem unskilled in their job. For the price of the restaurant and Nobu compared in other countries, this definitely did not feel like a luxury nor good experience. Other than that, hotel was what was expected with water park and amenities. Pricey but a one and done experience. Will visit elsewhere in Bahamas next time.

The entire experience was a disappointment. So many rude staff members, rooms were dirty and you can hear everything outside of the room. Everything was overpriced and at poor quality. Misleading information on activities and events. Would not go back to this property. We ended up extending our stay and transferred to a different hotel that was so much better.

had a lot of ants in bathroom . wanted maintenance to cork around bathroom sink where they were coming in from.went to front desk twice and showed video of all the ants . maintenance came with bug spray I told them I don't want chemicals where we pit our personal items and that they should just cork the sink. there was no further response from hotel staff we won't be back

I’ve stayed in many nice resorts in the Caribbean but The Royal has been by far the most fabulous! Not only is the property breathtaking, more importantly the amazing staff. Such happy, friendly, and helpful employees. 10 stars if I could.
