Charm and nature near Cluny

We offer you our little haven of peace in the Burgundy countryside. Ideally located a few kilometers from the RCEA (RN 79), the house is 10 minutes from Cluny, 20 minutes from TaizĆ©, 25 minutes from MĆ¢con, 1 hour from Lyon.
This typical house from the beginning of the 19th century belonged to my PƩpƩ, we renovated and modernized it a few years ago, combining authenticity and comfort to be able to found our home there. Today our life is elsewhere but we come back to it as soon as possible with our 2 little wolves to enjoy the charm of the Burgundian nature during the different seasons.
The house is thus fully equipped to feel at home. It consists of a living room of 30 m2 with an equipped kitchen, a living room and a dining room, a bathroom with Italian shower and bath, separate WC on the ground floor, and two bedrooms upstairs . The first bedroom has a 160x200 double bed and a child's bed, the second bedroom has a 140 bed. A travel cot can be provided free of charge. All rooms are equipped with electric heaters for simplicity. The house is at the heart of a 1000m2 wooded property, where young and old will find their happiness: swing, slide, ball, barbecue, table and garden chairs. You will be able to taste the sweetness of the Burgundian late season, have lunch outside, stroll through the vineyards ...
We provide the necessary maintenance: tea towels, dishwashing liquid, sponges, household product, toilet paper ...

Rental is by the week, from Saturday to Saturday

Wonderful house and setting
The house is very charming and well equipped. The owners have thought of everything you could need. The garden provides different sitting and eating areas and the view from the back looks over fields and a wooded hill. The walking in the area is accessible and you can soon get up high and take in the breathtaking scenery. The owners obviously love this house and it shows. We had a marvellous holiday.

Great little hideaway in the country
This lovely old house comes highly recommended. It is as it was (built circa 1820) on the outside but with all mod cons within and is extremely comfortable. The only thing missing is a washing machine. The owners are very welcoming. They have put a lot of their own efforts into restoring 'grandpa's house' and spend their own free time there, when possible. There is plenty of hot water, a good shower, well equipped kitchen and lots of outside space. The staircase may be a bit steep for small children but otherwise it's ideal for a quiet, rural retreat. The nearest food stores are in Cluny, 6 km away - so it's best to stock up !

Great place - beautiful scenery
We had a lovely week at Cyril and Marie's house - beautifully done up and very comfortable. My 1.5 year old loved exploring the garden and using the swings, plus all the toys that the hosts children had kindly loaned for the week - meant we didn't have to cart to many toys! Great place and would very much recommend for a quiet and relaxing holiday. Many thanks again Cyril and Marie. Best wishes The Fortunes

Nous avons passĆ© une semaine dans la magnifique maison de Marie et Cyril. L'accueil de Cyril Ć©tait trĆØs chaleureux et convivial. La maison est trĆØs belle et on s'y sent bien. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut. Il y a plusieurs places assises autour de la maison et le soir, on peut mĆŖme observer des chauves-souris. Le quartier est trĆØs calme. Sehr gerne wieder !
Wir haben uns in dem kleinen HƤuschen sehr wohl gefĆ¼hlt. Die Ausstattung ist sehr umfangreich, die Betten sind wirklich bequem und es gibt mehrere gemĆ¼tliche Sitzmƶglichkeiten vor dem Haus und im Garten. Die Lage ist zentral und wir konnten die Umgebung erkunden. Ausserdem war der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter wirklich herzlich. Also ***** ;-))

uriges und voll ausgestattetes Natursteinhaus
Haus und Garten waren wie im Inserat beschrieben, gut ausgestattet und alle Einrichtungen waren voll funktionstĆ¼chtig. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern im Vorfeld und vor Ort war immer schnell, freundlich und bemĆ¼ht, die Ɯbernahme problemlos. Das Haus ist sehr ruhig in einem Bauerndorf gelegen. Ideal, um von hier aus mit dem Fahrrad oder zu FuƟ auf Wanderschaft zu gehen. Das Umfeld bietet neben viel Natur auch viel Kultur. Neben dem Highlight Cluny findet man zahlreiche weitere sehenswerte Kirchen, Klƶster, Schlƶsser... Uns haben die 14 Tage hier viel Freude gemacht. Wunderschƶnes Ferienhaus in idyllischer Lage
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dem wunderschƶnen Ferienhaus mit seinem groƟen Garten und der sehr ruhigen, idyllischen Lage sehr genossen! Das Haus ist in einem sehr guten Zustand; KĆ¼che und Bad wurden behutsam modernisiert. Es hat an nichts gefehlt und die Beschreibungen und Fotos des Inserats waren sƤmtlich zutreffend. Am liebsten haben wir drauƟen im Garten gefrĆ¼hstĆ¼ckt. Nachts konnten wir einen grandiosen Sternenhimmel bewundern. Die Vermieter standen jederzeit fĆ¼r Fragen zur VerfĆ¼gung und waren ƤuƟerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten das GlĆ¼ck, die Familie auch persƶnlich kennenzulernen. Nous avons adorĆ© notre sĆ©jour dans cette ancienne maison trĆØs cozy. Marie et Cyril nous ont accueilli avec quelques produits du terroir et trĆØs bien renseignĆ© sur la rĆ©gion. Le jardin permettait Ć  chaque moment de la journĆ©e de trouver un endroit ombragĆ©. La maison restait fraiche malgrĆ© la chaleur. Nous y avons trouvĆ© l'endroit parfait pour un sĆ©jour reposant au calme. Et Ć©videment la rĆ©gion est magnifique. Nombreuses possibilitĆ©s de marches, vĆ©los, visites et bien sur les vignobles. Pour se rafraichir, le lac de Saint Point Ć  quelques km....

Maison charmante et bien Ć©quipĆ©e, le jardin a fait le bonheur de nos deux enfants. Cependant le sĆ©jour a Ć©tĆ© quelque peu terni par la prĆ©sence de loirs dans les combles au dessus des chambres qui nous ont empĆŖchĆ©s de dormir correctement. Nous avons Ć©tĆ© dƩƧu par le peu d'alternative proposĆ©e par les propriĆ©taires: subir ou partir ( contre remboursement des jours restants). Nous avons choisi de rester car nous ne voulions pas Ć©courter nos vacances mais les nuits ont Ć©tĆ© agitĆ©es. Donc en conclusion je recommande cette location mais assurez-vous avant que les petits intrus sont bien partis.

Die Vermieter Cyril und Marie haben uns in ihrem liebevoll restaurierten Bauernhaus sehr herzlich empfangen und waren wunderbare Gastgeber. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche mit abwechslungsreichen AusflĆ¼gen zu den schƶnen Schlƶssern, Burgen und Orten der Region, zum idyllisch gelegenen Badesee Lac St. Point und durften in Cluny sogar ein Pferderennen erleben. Nous avons passĆ© une excellente semaine en famille Ć  Brandon. Nous avons Ć©tĆ© trĆØs chaleureusement accueillis par Marie et Cyril, dans une belle maison ancienne restaurĆ©e avec goĆ»t et oĆ¹ rien ne manquait, pas mĆŖme les jeux pour nos trois enfants de 6 mois Ć  6 ans! La situation gĆ©ographique de la maison est vraiment idĆ©ale, car nous avons eu des activitĆ©s trĆØs variĆ©es, toutes avec des trajets avoisinant les 20 minutes de voiture maximum. Et nous avons laissĆ© derriĆØre nous encore beaucoup de lieux Ć  dĆ©couvrir ! Merci pour ce beau sĆ©jour !
