The room appliance were somewhat functional, the vent fan in rest room was not working. The bath tub clogged a lot, the dnd sign on room door was disregarded and room was cleaned irrespective. Overall the stay was somewhat satisfactory.

As a Hilton Honors Gold member, I was disappointed that the hotel refused to honour any of my membership benefits, including earning points for my stay, simply because I booked through Expedia instead of directly through Hilton. When I raised this with the manager, she was indifferent and claimed it was Hilton’s policy. When I mentioned that I had previously received benefits when booking through third parties at other Hilton hotels, she essentially called me a liar, saying they must have honoured it only because I had complained. She was rude and clearly unwilling to help. Additionally, the lobby bathrooms were dirty and not up to Hilton standards. Other than the one gentleman who checked us in and out and the housekeeping staff, the overall service was lacking.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you’re driving, as the parking fee is a whopping $65 per night. It’s also quite a distance from the main attractions, which might explain why it’s reasonably priced initially, but then you’re hit with additional charges for parking, taxes, and other fees.

Don’t count on connecting rooms
After multiple requests online, phone and in person to have connecting rooms, they somehow couldn’t make it happen. I’m not sure what the point of having connecting rooms is if you can’t request them. It was beyond frustrating and time consuming.

We were there for a 3-night stay. Loved the convenience to shops and restaurants. Walkable to a lot of places if we were not taking an Uber or public transit. It was our first visit to Chicago and the hotel helped make it a great trip. Of course, we loved the accommodations and the chocolate chip cookies each night. It is hard for me to give 5 stars to anything, but we did have a great stay. Only drawback is that we could have had staff share more information on the amenities (e.g., bar and restaurant times, pool access and availability, etc.).

Lovely Hotel, Kind People!
It was perfect. The only down side was one of the beds had something wrong with the mattress. It felt like it was caving on one side as if the inside was broken or almost void of any interior. Also, I waited in line to check out but it was busy and a girl was on the phone so long I had to leave. I put the 2 keys in the drop box and left. I would greatly appreciate you emailing me my receipt showing the $75.00 parking fee being removed. Thank you in advance for your kindness in doing so. After I receive my receipt, I will give a full blown review online.
