The overall experience was a great. Except when I had some setbacks at the airport I had to arrive a day after my husband and kids. The guy at the front desk would not allow them to get the reservation because I was not there. It was a little stressful because it was 1100 at night and the guys said he couldn’t do anything. Expedia was great at quickly changing the name on the reservation and they were able to get the room. Besides that every was great, breakfast, pool. And even keeping our luggage so we could walk around after check out.

The hotel is very well located, with many options nearby. However, I was disappointed to find out at check-in that there is a daily “destination charge” of USD 25 per suite. While it can be used as credit for food and beverages at the hotel, as a tourist visiting Chicago I had no interest in being forced to consume at the hotel.
