Family Getaway
Quick family trip to Chicago to see a Broadway show. Hotel was within an easy walking distance to the theater, as well as many great restaurants. Rooms were spacious. Beds could always be a bit softer, but nothing is ever like home :) Evening was quiet, despite a very busy hotel. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

The room was not clean, I have photos, and it smelled bad. Honestly, it smelled like someone died in it in the living room area (being in property management I have smelled this before so I can identify it.) Also, the breakfast was not very good. The eggs were wet and the hashbrowns were mushy.

Didn’t have hot water in the shower, even after maintenance claimed to fix it. Lightbulbs burned out in multiple lamps, dust everywhere, room smelled musty and old, very outdated.

We were able to book a room the day before our trip. Staff was friendly and suite had ample room for 5 guests. Continental breakfast was a great perk. Good location close to restaurants, coffee shops and Navy Pier. Would stay again!

Nice & easy
Here for a business trip. Enjoyed the accommodations. Disappointed in 2 things, but can’t have it all: 1. No shuttle to and from airport. 2. Breakfast on weekend not until 730 although m-f at 630. Business/flights happen on weekends too. It would’ve been nice to grab some breakfast before making my way to airport Sunday.

The location was excellent, and close to everything. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. But the facility is old and needs refurbishing. The rooms are not in comparable condition as others within the area and price range. The finishes are old, bathroom was in poor condition, the ammenities and TV are not modern. I would not stay at this hotel again especially for the price.

I like that there is parking on site, location is close to navy pier, river walk and millennium park they are walkable. A lot of dining options as well. There is a night social and Breakfast is a plus. Room is decent, we have stayed in a few embassy suites and room is always clean but this one for some reason the room we stayed at was not properly cleaned, found an opened m&m bag at the bottom of the bed and dusts in the room. Even with that we will still stay here.

The complimentary breakfast was really bad, line for an omelet was 45 minutes and the buffet was cold and lacking options. TV remotes did not work and there is no reason why cuts shouldn’t be able to use their own streaming services vs paying $20 for a movie.

Avoid this hotel if you ever have issues sleeping because of noise. The way the hotel is built, it is impossible to avoid extremely loud noises all throughout the day and night. All of the rooms face an open lobby, which echoes horribly. Then the elevators can be heard all throughout the hotel, even if your room is nowhere near one, and they alternate between thunderous movement and high-pitched creaking. The sounds of Chicago streets then permeate the rest of the room, completing the effect of inescapable noise. On top of that, there is the annoyance of getting to the room in the first place, which involves multiple elevator rides (one to get to the ground level of the hotel, then walking across the hotel lobby to get to the elevators that bring you to the room level). We also had an issue with parking validation. The first time we tried to leave the garage (which has in-and-out privileges), we were on a time crunch and discovered that the hotel hadn't properly validated our parking ticket. This resulted in needing to leave our car in an exit lane of the garage after speaking to the garage manager, going back up to the hotel to get our ticket re-validated, and returning to our car, which nearly resulted in us being late to an event.
