Hotel was Ok
Hotel was fine for price but no bells or whistles. Sink in bathroom extremely small, if you’re needing to get ready it’s difficult. Elevator situation was very annoying. Only 2 very small elevators, sometimes you had to wait multiple rounds before being able to use, especially if you weren’t on a top floor. Lighting in room was pretty minimal. Beds were very comfortable and location is right in the heart of the Mag Mile!

Hotel Saint Clair review
Hotel Saint Clair is steps away from the magnificent mile. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. The room was small and the bathroom very small. It could have used a chair in the room. I would definitely stay there again. The price was very reasonable for downtown Chicago.

Nice location. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Staff was really nice. Espresso machine in the room so that was nice. Older hotel so as long as you are ok with small Space and older looking rooms, you’re in a good spot. I think there are some nice touches for being an older property. Elevator is slow though so be patient or take 7 flights of stairs like I did . :)

Our room didn’t has a ventilation in the restroom.. incredible but true. The front desk said us .. “ is because is an old building”. Other thing… if you don’t ask for clean the room, they don’t do it…. Their answer was .. “ only when the customer ask for it”. We spent 4 night and only had 2 services of cleaning in our room. The location is very good.m, and almost all the people who work in the hotel are very nice.

The first night at 2:30 in the AM, the room next to us had about 15-20 people in it. I went down to front desk and they told me they couldn’t do anything that it was a frat party. He offered to take my email and get back to me about a potential refund. After having to threaten to call police he said I will see what I can do. 10-15 min later the noise was gone! However it ruined my night sleep and really the next night as well because I was so tired!

I enjoyed my stay here no complaints, everything was clean, the staff were great, and the location was very convenient, I walked to almost everything. You just have to be patient with the elevator, or there are steps you can take as well.
