Came for the price so didn’t expect too much. When I came the customer service was great. Provided waters , ice, even a microwave which was a surprise. Great area you’re around everything and the hotel is very clean. Would go back again.

I loved that the hotel was "historical" but it needed to be updated/finished. Example would be the peeling paint on the shower ceiling, wallpaper peeling in some areas. The staff was underwhelming. My "city view" was that of the apt building across the street. On a positive note, the hotel was in a great area & was very convenient to get to the Train & other transportation! The bed was SUPER comfortable & the work desk was helpful.

So comfortable. GREAT location.
Fantastic stay at the Whitehall once again! Clean room, very comfortable bed! Large windows to let in natural light but no view other than the concrete wall of the building nextdoor. That was ok though, all things considered. My favorite self parking situation in all of downtown Chicago...$51 per night WITH in and out privileges. Garage has a 7’7" clearance. Nice bar and restaurant on the first floor. I'll be back!

My first room smelled like pot and so they kindly switched me. The second had light fixtures and wall switches that were falling apart. Plus I felt unsafe as a room with the elevator just feet from my door.

We enjoyed our stay at the Whitehall hotel. The staff were friendly at check in and check out. The room was just what we needed. It was convenient to have a restaurant in the same building. It was within walking distance to shopping, the river walk, and boat rides.
