The overall experience was okay. The location couldn’t be better, but the rooms are very dated and we had a few interactions with rude staff. If location is very important to you, then it’s a decent hotel. Otherwise, it’s not worth the premium price.

Breakfast buffet was excellent. Lots to choose from, all prepared well. Reception staff was very helpful with all our needs. Hotel is perfectly located at boundary between Upper and Lower Towns areas. Next to a major tram station for ease of getting around. Fitness facility was good although the treadmill was out of order.

The hotel was in the heart of lower town. Easy access to the train and very walkable. Anything you would need is in this area. The hotel was pretty quiet and very comfortable. Getting hot water for a bath/shower was challenging. The included breakfast was a buffet of so many options. We were able to get a late checkout and store our luggage so we could see more sites the day we were leaving. The manager at the front desk was a very nice guy. He was very helpful and pleasant to just talk to. We would definitely stay here again.
