They promised or advertise airconditioning but only a few rooms do have them. It was not too hot so with the windows open it was fine. Room on the second floor clean and fine but a little dated. Breakfast was good, bar was good and overall a good and pleasant stay

Don't get a room in the 'annex' on the 2nd floor!
Old and dated. My room was 217 and it was like an oven. No A/C and a useless fan that blew the heated air around the room. Bed was too low to the ground and uncomfortable. Furnishing were old and 'brown'. Bathroom was old and dated too. Elevator to the 2nd floor and then a maze of a corridor twisting, turning and down 4 stair before I gasped my way into a furnace of a room. with My travel friends stayed on the ground floor and had a nicer cooler room with A/C . Pay attention when you book!

Very helpful, welcoming staff; above average breakfast ( fresh orange juice, hard boiled eggs); very clean bedroom, comfy bed and quiet. Good location for bus into Eindhoven centre (17mins), needed as small town very quiet. Regular bus to the airport (23mins). Restaurant smelt good although I didn't have time to eat there.

This hotel is a gem. The staff is friendly and courteous. The rooms are comfortable. The setting is beautiful. Within walking distance there are options for dining outside of the hotel, but the hotel has an excellent restaurant as well.

The property is in a great location for work and the restaurant is very nice. The beds are comfortable. With any old building, there are some creaking floorboards.

This hotel is in a great location...close to the office. The room I stayed in this time was the best yet....110. A plug socket by the bed is always essential for those of us who like a little snooze with our alarm clock. I would really like to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room to help with the late arrivals or early mornings.... The food in the restaurant is excellent.

Requested a twin, got a double: extractor fan in the bathroom did not work: no kettle to make tea: pedal bin in bathroom was full of refuse from the last guests: no drinking water provided (34c temp) had to pay almost €5 for 1 bottle of water.

Expensive, old and far from city
bed and door are screeching. Room and hotel are old fashioned. Door is not soundproof and you can hear all noises on the hall. Breakfast was poor. Very expesive country hotel for what it offers. The blanket on the bed smelled bad. I guess wasn't changed long time ago. Bed was old si very uncomfortable.

Amazing stay
The hotel was lovely, the lady at the front desk was amazingly helpful and welcoming and looked after me throughout the trip. Food was wonderful. All round a pleasant experience and I will be returning soon.

Great small quaint hotel; take the lift to 2nd fl!
This is a great place for being in the center of town and accessible to restaurants and shops close by. The rooms are tidy and fine. Breakfast if ample and very good. The upper floor has a slanted roof which is a bit hard to navigate and the stairs to it are the classic, tiny stairs in many Dutch small hotels. Avoid going to the second floor using the stairs. Make sure to use the elevator/lift. But it is easy to miss seeing it.

A perfect location & lovely historic hotel with a quiet & well appointed room. Dinner was excellent as was breakfast with plentiful choices both in lovely rooms, the dining room & the very sweet breakfast room. A delightful hotel with very helpful & friendly staff.

Driving late in the day and needed a place to stay on short notice. Great deal for the price. Room was a bit dated in presentation, but was comfortable and quiet nonetheless. Will stay here again of the opportunity arises.

Still feels like a monastery or hostel
Not a happy visit. Asked for double room and get two very mobile singles pushed together. One of them with a broken leg which had been repaired with gaffer tape. We decided not to eat in restaurant. Not happy with the place. Found good tapas bar. Very very disappointing

Great hotel with fantastic restaurant
A great hotel with a fantastic restaurant, located in the suburbs of Eindhoven. This hotel is not part of a 'chain', nor is it very modern, but it is homely where the staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is great, 'Masterchef' standards, but it's not particularly cheap.... you get what you pay for. I will be staying at 'Hotel Restaurant La Sonnerie when I am next in Eindhoven.
