Very clean, beds were very comfortable, quiet room. Good amenities. They have a bar area and an outdoor patio but we didn’t get a chance to use either. We were only there for one night and checked in at about 8pm so time did not allow. Nice feature though. Otherwise, it’s a hotel next to a truck stop. Not much of a scenic setting but definitely convenient. Avoca is a sweet little town too! Limited for dining options but we do highly recommend the Mexican restaurant in town. Roberto at the front desk suggested it and said if we show our room key we’d get a discount there, and we did. If you’re looking for a place for a cocktail there are two local bars in town. Very much your local small town bars but very friendly staff at both. There’s a coffee shop too. All in all our stay in Avoca was a very positive experience.

My room was clean but I was only left decaf coffee for coffee pot in the room, towels were thin, and bed, while not uncomfortable, had seen better days. On the positive side, the omelette I had for breakfast was great.

We were visiting family in the area, so this is a convenient place to stay. The rooms are clean, in good repair, nice beds. Thick newer towels. The staff are attentive. They actually offer a hot breakfast, which was a surprise. There is a great Mexican restaurant in town we recommend. We will stay again when in the area.

Although the room and public areas were very clean and well-kept, this 2 story building lacks an elevator. Carrying heavy bags up or down stairs is both troublesome and frankly dangerous for anyone of advanced years. Additionally, the shared driveway entering the property is in poor condition, taking away from what is otherwise a nicely maintained property.

Nice clean quiet hotel, we were even traveling with our best pup. Breakfast selection is good: hot eggs and sausage. Shower water pressure is great! I would recommend this hotel.
