Ideal location for a couple of nights' stay while touring the east of Iceland. Very comfortable rooms and really friendly/helpful staff. Small restaurant with a good choice of food, where service was excellent, even when they were also hosting larger groups.

Room is very hot, no air condition, had to open the window but outside was noise. Even closed the window, we could still hear outside noise from talking and traffic around the area. bath room is old need to remodel. Bed sheet is old need to change with better quality sheet. etc.

Generally good. The room could do with a little better maintenance. For example, part of the shower door was missing and replaced with a curtain. Not much of an Inconvenience but looks untidy. Breakfast was good and varied.

Property itself was nice, not super fancy but the really annoying thing about this place is the lack of parking, or better yet - inconvenient parking. Theres ample parking, but in the back. Secondly, they were hosting a group of high school basketball kids that were so obnoxiously loud throughout the night. Instead of putting them to their own area, they put other guests in between these kids’ rooms, that were screaming and yelling all night and early morning, partying with each other. Even after complaining, it was still just as bad. Just extremely inconsiderate of other guests.

Parking lot was completely ice covered, water smelled like sulfur, and the TV didn’t connect to anything. They did offer to switch our room, but it was late and we were already in our pajamas and settled in after a long day.
