Great staff but this hotel needs to be renovated
This hotel is in need of a refurbishment. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. Everything is old and the beds are double not queen size. Breakfast was good and the lady manning the area was great at keeping food stocked during the breakfast rush hour. It’s expensive considering the lack of amenities (no pool) and the lack of renovations. On the plus side there are many restaurants surrounding—Swiss chalet, Boston pizza, Burger King etc within walking distance.

Loud buzz in room all night maybe from a/c? No thermostat to self control temperature. Bed skirt too big. Drags on floor to trip you. Lobby carpet dirty at entrance plus not picking up plates at breakfast despite telling you to leave them on the table. NO Kleenex! Nice restaurant next door Swiss Chalet.

The property was getting a new roof during our stay and the ladder from the roofers was directly in front of our two-story window. It was difficult to find parking due to the large section that the roofers had blocked off for their equipment. Our total stay was three nights at this location and for some reason housekeeping didn’t even clean our room on the second night, still curious as to why? The front desk said they will look into that, but I never did hear back from them. I also asked if they have a seniors discount and they said yes because I booked through Expedia they were not able to provide that discount. There was dirt on the stairs going up to the second floor from muddy boots and that dirt remain there during our whole stay.

My stay was excellent and staff was exceptional. Only complaint was we paid for ground floor with drive up access. They were having the roof redone and we could not access our room from the exterior door because it was cordoned off for safety purposes, would have like to know that before booking is all.

Overall, hotel was fine with plenty of room space. Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast is worth skipping and going to an outside restaurant for a decent meal. Problem was limited selection and waterly orange juice.
