Mary Mills Room - Heritage House

Enjoy the charm of this 200 year old Farmhouse that has been completely restored with all the comforts and modern amenities.

Our modern farmhouse is both cozy and comfortable, with everything you will need to enjoy a family trip away from home.

All our mattresses are Nectar, which we love!

Mary Mills (born Mary Adelia Denton), the second owner of the home, purchased it from her brother, TJ Denton in 1870. Though married at the time (second wife of James L. Mills), Mrs. Mills was able to own the property due to New York passing the Married Women's Property Act in 1848 and the Act Concerning the Rights and Liabilities of Husband and Wife in 1860. Upon her death in 1909, Mary bequeathed the parcel to her housekeeper Susan Miller (b.1850 Ireland). Newly renovated bedroom for three on the second floor of a 175-year-old farmhouse. Private bath, Vanity, control of air conditioning and heat.
