Property overall was fine. Only one elevator working and no sign for the fact the other wasn’t. It's around a pretty loud area (highway, trains, local food truck areas). The shower curtain was partially broken and wouldn't stay closed so a lot of water got on the floor. Additionally, the door wasn’t super tight fitted and allowed a lot of light into the room. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable.

When selecting this property, there was a choice between a room with 2 doubles or a deluxe room with 2 queens and a sleeper sofa. Once we got in the room it was very clear that the beds were doubles and not queens and the way the room was oriented, one bed was directly opposite the couch. So you can't open the couch to use it as a bed. Also, the bed sheets that were in the couch had yellow stains. I spoke to staff and they let me know that they can send maintenance up to see what could be done. I declined because it was late and we just wanted some sleep. It was an overall disappointing stay. The shower curtain rod was broken so when you showered the curtain didn't stay in place and water got everywhere. There was little spots of stains on the sheets. There was dirt behind the door in the bathroom. When we were checking out, I got on the elevator first, my daughter was right behind me. I selected L and right away the elevator doors shut on her and didn't register that there was something in between the doors. It took at least a couple of seconds for the door to open again, but in the meantime the doors had pressed pretty hard on my daughter. She's pretty tough and an athlete but when she said that hurt, I immediately told the front desk. I can't imagine if that was a child or a senior! All in all, the stay was disappointing.

Had no issues with the hotel staff, they were all kind and helpful. Hotel is under construction and not in a great area. Pool is being demolished and the whole place had a strange smell. Rooms had no wall art and felt bare. Layers of paint on everything and one working elevator. I would not stay again.

Hotel was very old and smelly. There were stains all over mattresses paint peeling everywhere but they just painted over it to make it look new...it didnt. Our blinds didnt open or shut as half of it was off the tracks so it was bright in our room all night. Breakfast was horrid. Yes, it was hot but it was gross and not appetizing. The containers for the eggs and sausage were extremely small and ran out very very quickly but took forever to be filled again. Staff seemed annoyed to be doing that job and annoyed by the people. I would never recommend this to anyone or stay again. YUCK

I normally do not review hotels but I had to here. I have stayed in my share of cheap run-down places but this one takes the cake. The lobby is musty-smelling. No restaurant. The couch in the room is stained and dirty. The room smelled like a musty Caribbean hotel but without a beach view. The room has zero soundproofing so if you get wharf/highway side prepare to be kept up all night due to street racing. Hair all over the bathroom and not the long kind if you catch my drift. The shower curtain holder cracked and loose. Black mold in the bathroom and on the AC unit. Water stains on the ceiling. Let's talk about the bed. The worst most uncomfortable thing I have ever seen, with a couple you sink in towards each other and squeaks nonstop. The bed has to be 20 years old. The 2 nights we were there, we maybe got 4 hours of sleep due to the bed and noise. Hallways are uncomfortably warm but those were at least new carpet and painted. Let's not forget the police are constantly there for our 2 night stay. Steer clear of this place and spend a couple more bucks and get into a nicer place or you will regret it. I have stayed at nicer $50 a night places. I was not expecting the plaza but what a rat hole this place is.
