Not a terrible hotel to stay at but not great either. Seemed to be in a safe location surrounded by grocery stores and various dining options (within close driving distance). Our room was quiet. Mattresses were comfortable with soft pillows. The carpeting was dated and torn in many places - seriously time for an upgrade. The thermostat did not regulate the temperature in the room. Our bathroom was far from meeting expectations - peeling wallpaper with a blood stain near the garbage, lifting floor tiles under the sink, clogged sink drain, and really poor electricity that seemed to forewarn a fire. The lobby has been renovated, which made for a good first impression of the hotel. But the room was in dire need for the same. We would consider staying elsewhere until this ramada improves property maintenance. Value for money spent was poor for our room. Glad it was only a 1-night stay.

The pool was not operational. I specifically booked this hotel oi that we could enjoy a swim. The person at the desk said that she would supply us with towels and we could go to their adjacent hotel across the parking lot to use their pool. I would have booked at the other establishment had I known about the pool problem, but no, I was expected to walk in my swim suit and I guess, carry a bag with a change of cloths and jacket etc. Not sure where we were supposed to change either. I asked for a discount to be put on my card. Of course the clerk said that nothing could be done. I am sure she just wanted me to go away. Lesson learned! I will never book a hotel online again without first calling them to make sure the amenities they offer and that we are paying for, are truly there and in good working order. All they had to do was put a notification out.
