The property is in a great location unfortunately the rooms need to be updated the price is pretty high for what you get my back is really messed up from sleeping in such a hard bed for 3 days it was 2 of us and we both experienced that same issue loved the location but will not consider staying unless offered a newer bed!

The staff at the Crowne Plaza was extremely accommodating and friendly, especially given that we were staying there during the time of the terrorist attack. Not once did I see anyone lose their patience. The rooms we stayed in were nice but needed some serious updating. The first night, our HVAC did not work, but was quickly repaired after calling. The next morning when my husband tried to take a shower, the faucet blew out with the water. We had to change rooms, but it was done with minimum hassle -- the engineers who looked at the faucet even brought us the keys to our new room. The new room had trouble getting hot water and the carpet was quite worn. The hotel is aging, but in a very good location to be able to walk to everything in the French Quarter. We liked it well enough to check back in for another night after our flight was cancelled. They even let us stay in the same room! Deluxe? No. Convenient and good value? Yes.

There was blood on my sheets in the first hotel room, in the second room, a mouse ran out. On the second night there, there was no hot water or heat from 6am to 8pm.

I had to move rooms 3 times due to not having hot water in one room, the other room was facing the bottom of the hotel where people were working it was so loud with rats running outside it was disgusted. The last room on my last night was my favorite I was able to sleep and had hot water.
