Only 4 Blocks to the Canal Streetcar and minutes to the French Quarter in all Nola has to offer. Spacious open floor plan you will absolutely love this home.. There is a playground and basketball court across the street. The home is decorated with New Orleans Mardi Gras flare. There are tons of restaurants and clubs with live music within walking distance. The home is well situated in the heart of NOLA's best attractions, Walkable to many great restaurants, bar & grill & much more. Hop on the trolley line 4 blocks away and go almost anywhere in the city for 24/ 7, Jazz Fest, Frenchmen St, French Quarter, Bourbon street, City Park, Superdome and port of New Orleans (just to name A few), is within two miles or less from the house. This house was Perfect!!!
We stayed for the weekend on our moms/birthday celebration. Check in process was easy. House was very accommodating for our group of 5. Clean and smelled good when we walked in. Close enough to ride on trolley and not have to drive your vehicle around. Just a short walk to the trolley pick up station and close by are restaurants and bars. We went to Neyow’s Creole cafe just minutes away from the house and it was a whole vibe. Good food and music! I know in previous reviews people have said the beds were hard but i didn’t think so I thought they were super comfy. Loved the host had body wash shampoo conditioner blow dryer and hair spray if you didn’t pack it. There was plenty of towels for everyone. The neighborhood was really quiet. Their backyard was set up so nice with all the furniture and bbq pit. Kitchen had everything you need to cook with. Rooms are all upstairs they each have a box fan in each room didn’t need them cause the house stayed cool but I like to have the extra noise when I sleep. Any questions I had for the host they responded very quickly and made sure to let us know if we need anything to reach out to them. Definitely recommend this house for your vacation in New Orleans.When we do come back we hope this house is available to book again. Great for groups or family vacations. Let me not forget if you do have small children there’s a little play kitchen for them loved seeing that their for other families to use during their stay.

The hosts were very responsive. Place was clean and comfy. Some extra blankets would be nice, because my husband runs hot and I always need an extra. Luckily there were two unused twins I could use the ctwins

Wonderful home!
We drove our kids down to New Orleans for fall break and loved this home. Plenty of room. Parking at the house. 4 blocks from the street cars and 2 blocks from a bus stop. We bought the RTA pass to get around. It’s $1 a day for kids and $8 for 3 days for adults. Use them! It’s the best way to get around. The house was very cozy and had everything we needed. The hosts were very accommodating and easy to reach.

A perfect trip
This was our “kids” last fall break and this house did not disappoint! The decor was very Mardi Gras which was great, the backyard was the perfect set up ( I wish I would have brought wood for the fire pit) (be warned there are mosquitoes which is expected) the bedrooms are set up for a nice size group and there were extra toiletries if needed. We will be back.

Mechelle and Chris were incredibly friendly, responsive, and accommodating. We had a lovely stay at this charming home, able to accommodate all 7 of us easily. When we realized we were struggling with a later checkout, they were even kind enough to accommodate us keeping our bags there on short notice. Great location in Mid city too with easy access to streetcar - short ride to city park, french quarter, and close by to many local bars/restaurants/stores!

Very festive and overall comfortable. Loved the front and back porches and the flowers make it feel like home. Within walking distance of Melba’s Restaurant which is great. Other options as well. 5 adults were visiting for Jazz Fest. 2024. The beds could have been more comfortable but they were ok for a short visit. A/C was nice an cool which we greatly appreciated. Overall we were happy.

It's a nice, well-decorated house. The mardi gras tree and the masks. There are plenty of beds throughout the house. We were able to comfortably sleep 5 people with no problems. Only one bedroom has a TV, it had a DVD player and I think there was a missing remote in that room. The two full bathrooms were very convenient and the property manager provided plenty of washcloths and towels. Parking could be a little limited. This side of the property does not have a driveway and there is a giant tree with leaves that hang way down. From the house, it was a short drive to most of the stuff we were looking to do, and a short ride to the trolly. It was also close to a park work a playground and a basketball court that was lit up at night. If you have younger kids, some of the masks might be scary at night. Also, some of the pictures on the wall may be a little provocative for kids. Also, if you're over 6 feet tall, watch your head when going up the steps.

Great neighborhood
We enjoyed our stay, the house was spacious and clean. The garden out back was very nice, especially in late afternoon. It was fun being near the park, our son joined in pickup basketball. We came across a great little Irish pub a few blocks away and it was evident that everyone lived in the neighborhood, all ages and walks of life enjoying the afternoon sun snd company.

It was my 18 year old granddaughter's first trip to Nola and she loved everything about it. We had the opportunity to meet Mechelle and she was friendly with a great sense of humor. Great pick!
This property was so cute, fully stocked, perfect location to get downtown easily. Some sketchy places around but that’s to be expected in New Orleans. The beds were slightly uncomfortable, we are heavy people so this could just be my opinion. Housekeeping came by mid stay to check on us, make sure we still have paper products etc. that was awesome, never had that before. Probably one of my top stays. Highly recommend.
