The property isn’t the worse but if you’re looking for a modern and fresh feeling hotel this isn’t the place for you. The rooms and hotel are outdated. The beds are uncomfortable as well. But the isn’t dirty at all.

The person at the front desk was very warm and friendly and informative. It seemed very natural and genuine. It was fast and efficient .The hotel is old and dated. Many hallway and elevators and just because you use one elevator doesn’t mean you will get to your room. Each elevation is assigned to a bank of rooms. Very confusing, especially for a weary traveller. I wish the airport shuttle was running longer as the exorbitant taxi charges for a 4km ride or 2 miles was beyond belief. ($45 us). Although not the hotel fault but a longer shuttle time would avoid that so the cost is not a first impression of the city.

My first issue was with the airport shuttle. I called ahead of time to let them know i was coming and when I arrived at the airport. I waited where they told me to wait for 25 minutes, I saw the shuttle go into the parking lot instead of coming to the shuttle lane and leave. I waited another 30 minutes for him to return to pick me up. He clearly didnt know where he was supposed to go. Once we got to our room, my mom noticed a bed bug on the pillow. Instead of apologizing and offering us some kind of compensation for clearly not checking their rooms, they moved us to a different room which was helpful, but if youre in customer service you should at least be apologizing for such a big inconvenience. The lady at the front desk was really nice, that was probably the only good part about it.

Who ever designed this hotel was drunk at the time. Endless hall ways with nothing in them. no windows in room except one that faced the hallway of another section of the hotel. A light in front of the closet with no switch to turn it on. Light in the shower was burnt out, shower faucet broke, no blanket to speak of. 25 yr. old lcd tv. very dingy plus the airport shuttle doesn't start until 7 am. the only bright spot was the front desk clerks.
