checked in around 1:00 a.m. November 2nd 2024 I go to my room open the door it's extremely cold from the AC blasting and there's a smell I turned the AC off left got food came back the front desk lady and her boyfriend are walking outside. I walked in my room there's a mold mildew musty smell (i assume they attempt to hide the mold smell with the ac blowing) . I turn on the heat because it was still pretty cold from when I first walked in earlier got in the shower got out the shower and the smell from the AC unit got worse. I contacted front desk she tells me she can't leave the front desk (even though she was just hanging outside) so shes going to send her boyfriend I asked if she could come with him because I didn't feel comfortable she told me no.. he comes to the room he acts like he cannot smell the smell that I am smelling he looks at me and tells me "I'll let them know and we will see what we can do" I went downstairs spoke to the lady and got no resolutions. I didn't think to look at the reviews of the hotel before I booked and I'm seeing other people that complained about a smell. She also expressed that her perks for working at the hotel is that she can wash her clothes on the property for free that's why she was outside and that she didn't come to my room because she didn't feel safe and when I expressed to her I didn't feel safe with her boyfriend coming to my room she just looked at me as if she didn't care i also had to take a shower wjth my flipflops on dirty
