Older property that needs a remodel, but mostly needs better maintenance and housekeeping. The front desk staff were very helpful and pleasant. Our room wasn’t vacuumed well, we found nail clippings near the bed. The place really needs to be deep cleaned, and to have outdated bits removed. The tub didn’t drain well, there was standing water just seconds after the water was turned on. Our bed was great, sheets were clean, and the room was quiet. Overall the room was fine, didn’t smell strange, and didn’t feel damp. The hallways smelled ok, automatic air fresheners were mounted everywhere.

Unfortunately I didn’t have a good experience. We arrive earlier and I request some suggestions of place to go and find food. Even though I was with my daughter of 14 years old, the reception said that in the cassino there were good places to have lunch- I tough there were some restaurants outside or separated of Casino, but no! They don’t have it and I could not enter there of course. As I am new in the city it is hard when you have to walk to wrong places, feeling hungry, tired, etc. And another uncomfortable situation was the late check in, because the hotel was completely full and had many late check outs- those motivations impacted our plans! We had the concert of Taylor Swift and we didn’t have enough time to be ready to go. I am really sorry for all these things but the hotel doesn’t have a contingency plan for this kind of situation! For the next time is better to think about it. Mainly housekeepers, I saw just 2 people working hard. I don’t know if they have more. But for this particular occasion there must be more people working. And another suggestion is the kitchen could have some sandwiches or pizzas to sell! It would be great sale. Thank you!

The staff where ok but they place me in a room with no water working and the tolet did flush and then place me in a room where there was hair in the bathroom and in the sink and shower and did not provide no linen staff at the kenner garden state there no more towel and suggest that we use hand clothes to try off i would not recommend somebody staying here 1st and last time for the peice i paid

Rooms weren't ready when they were supposed to be, then once we finally got in our rooms a bed was broken in one of them. The phones didn't work in either room. It was an overall terrible experience.

The entire place stinks. I would have moved to another property if I could have. Carpet was wet room smells like mold. Floors are sinking everywhere. I had 3 rooms reserved for me and my 2 brothers. They were all the same. I think Hilton should be ashamed to allow them to use their name.

Chair in room looked like it was out of dumpster or chrome seen, safety latch for door was broken off, roaches in room, tile my front door bathroom was loose and broken, fridge was rusty…….much more.

The room smelled like old water. There were no extra linens for the sofa bed or towels. There was mold on the ceiling and mildew on the shower curtain. Lizards inside the hallway. Bathroom was unswept or mopped and bathtub looked filthy.

Disappointing
The hotel isn’t very well taken care of. Carpet is dirt. AC wasn’t working on our floor in the hallways. Front desk wasn’t very friendly and when we asked for clean towels they didn’t have any. It was very disappointing.

Not so good. The lady who works in the afternoon is excellent. She deserves a raise. She was always helpful and I sincerely appreciate her service. Other than that - 1. Room door was broken (Room 223) 2. I was there for 7 days (had two reservations) and my room was cleaned once. 3. The humidity inside my room was insane (know hotel is on a lake but printer paper in my room would be wet after sitting on my desk for about an hour) 4. Floor of Room 223 was slanted at a very high degree of angle for a floor 5. Trash was picked up every 2-3 days and the size of the trash can was tiny The people who service this hotel were excellent. The crew that makes breakfast, the crew that puts out the coffee, the greek/middle eastern lady that works on Saturday afternoon and some of the afternoons on the weekdays were all excellent. The owners of this hotel need a wake up call. There are maintenance issues with this hotel that are a lawsuit waiting to happen. The feeling I received was - money is good because we are right next to the convention center so to the hell with the condition of the hotel, people will stay here anyway because of proximity.
