Donā€™t stay in room 204 if you have vertigo. Itā€™s an insanely crooked/unlevel room. Made my mother sicker than a dog by the 3rd day. The front staff was excellent, doormen & valets amazing. Not a rude or unhelpful person on the premises. Found some local dive bars close that we had a blast in. And the food in NOLA is the best. We had a room at the front of the hotel so we got some street noise but it wasnā€™t awful. Iā€™m mean we were in New Orleans soā€¦yeah, thereā€™s going to be some noise. I would stay here again, just not in room 204.

We picked our stay in New Orleans to be at Chateau Lemoyne because of a prior successful stay. We checked in early and so that may have changed our room, but we were given room #558. There was a hum coming from the bathroom that made the 1st night tough to sleep. We asked to change rooms, and we were given #room 238. That was noisy as well and it is located above the trash service. I know that trash pickup is a must, but this noise would wake me the next few days. We had a minor issue with our in-room coffee maker, but we really like the location of the hotel and are somewhat creatures of habit. The staff, especially at the door, were very helpful and friendly and we loved to sit out on the porch...in a rainstorm...and enjoy the time. This recent travel experience will not deter us from choosing Chateau Lemoyne in the future its just that we were a little disappointed.

The front entrance, from valet to bell to desk and concierge were wonderful. Rang for taxi service as desired, held bags upon checkout so we could go out to lunch before heading to the airport. We had a 2nd floor interior courtyard suite so it was very restful and quiet after buzzing around the city and French Quarter. No food or beverage service but so much within walking distance, including a surprisingly inexpensive bar/barfood joint just a block away.

Property location is one block from Bourbon Street. Felt safe, even walking at night as there are alot of polic patrolling. Our room wasnthe "accessibility" room. One window looks onto the roof. New carpet and clean. Hallway carpets are old, dirty and need replacing. Room cleaning service was good. This room is also beside thr custodial cleaning ahoot.

The place is in a good location for what we were doing But we did not get to our room till after 5:30 check in was at 4 and they had no explanation not even an apology about it we drove 10 hours and we needed rest and a shower and we waited over an hour and 1/2 for our room they said the pool was heated not it was freezing. Our shower was ice cold and there is only 1/2 door the fridge was not even on in the room I had to fix it from behind it and we found a unopened comdon in the drawer so they do not clean every part of the room and parking is 46.00 a day on top of the price of the room
