From check-in to check-out, the staff at the Monteleone always makes you feel like royalty. The view of the river from our window was wonderful. We have been there many times. This two-day trip may be the best ever!

Let the kids have Bourbon St. Give me the Hotel Monteleone on Royal Stā€¦ please! The Hotel is a historic property and itā€™s beautiful. The Staff here are fantastic. They anticipate your questions, concerns, needs with a smile and resolution. Take time to chat with them, they love to share their city ideas with you. At Check-In, Elaine, Marci, Gabriella, Christopher and Jasmine. To the Bellman, Nolan and Schvyler always with big smiles and hellos! The VIP Manager Joey answered many questions. In the Gift Shop say hi to Lisa! Enjoyed meals provided by Food&Beverage. Dennis and his team tended to our group meals Definitely eat at Criollo. Holli and her team Barbara, Jorge, Kenny, Ty, and Arianna service brought us back 3 times! There are many other people that make this place runā€¦ these were my favorites! Thanks to Each of You!

We had an amazing stay here for 2 nights. The room is cozy and the beds are comfy. We ordered room service 1 night and it arrived quickly. This hotel is perfect for a romantic get away. It is walking distance to Bourbon St and many cute bars abd restaurants.

This is a historic property in the middle of French quarter. It has an amazing carousel bar which is a must try. And the restaurants around the hotel are absolutely lovely. Bathroom was on the smaller side but nothing that will make me not book this place again.

The Monteleone is exactly as it appears on line. Our room was so beautiful and bright. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. We were offered an early check in (at a price) which we were happy to accept. We were arriving at 9 from our cruise and check in was 4. Being seniors, we were delighted to accept the offer and our room was available at 11 oā€™clock. The roof top pool was glorious with a bar and the restaurant in the hotel offers a delicious breakfast and dinner. Donā€™t forget the Carousel bar for which itā€™s known. The hotel is centrally located to Bourbon St., Jackson Square and all the beauty of New Orleans.

Wonderful place to experience! We arrived early and they let us go ahead and check in to our room which was a huge relief! Turndown service and the room was very clean. Love the bell and valet service. Makes it very convenient for that area of town.

Our shower didnt drain and the sink was extremely slow to drain which was nasty. I let the front desk know and they sent someone to fix it. It drained faster but still filled. Tht was the only downfall.

Bathroom was in need of repairs and updates. Cracked and missing caulk and mortar. There were hand drawn X marks written in permanent marker on 10 of the floor tiles. I canā€™t imagine why. 1/4 of the tiles were broken. Grout was missing and broken on the floor tiles and shower and tub. I didnā€™t use the tub because the jets were dirty and needed a deep clean. There was another guests earring on the bathroom counter. The sofa was stained and needed to be deep cleaned. The comforter was piled quite badly. We stayed in room 380 it was a suite. On the 3rd day they had a fire alarm drill go off at 9:00 and it went on for 30 minutes. So many guests were upset and yelling at the staff when we got downstairs. I would not recommend staying in this area of the French quarter. It was very convenient to canal street, which was great, but it felt dangerous at night. There were homeless people right outside and people walking around screaming. This happened every night. We stayed 5 nights. I would stay in the French quarter again, but further down royal street felt a lot safer.

This was the perfect location for exploring the French Quarter! Hotel is beautiful, pool was great, and Carousel Bar was a blast each evening; usually full but could find a seat or two. Another shout out to Dwight, one of the doormen, who grabbed cabs for us and also provided excellent dining recommendations. Would definitely stay here again!
