We had a lovely time staying in this charming hotel. Our butler was amazing. He spent time talking about the history of the hotel and was very helpful recommending things to do! Our room was amazing and spacious. It was exactly what weā€™d hoped for!

Wish we had found this place years ago! Very conveniently placed between Bourbon Street and Frenchman's Street for our jazz needs. The parking was great--a lot two doors down that didn't require expensive valet parking. And it is right next door to Port of Call for the best hamburgers in the world! The staff was very friendly! Free soft drinks and snacks throughout the day. The bed was incredibly comfy.

We had no hot water. Cold showers. No utensils or plates or glasses in kitchen. The breakfast ran out of plates half way through and we had to find someone who cleaned the dirty dishes while we waited. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The place just isnā€™t well managed.

Pros:the night security, Tori. She was lovely and helpful and gave us our room key when we checked in late. She toured us around and made sure we were comfortable and happy at check in. The second and only other pro is the breakfast that is served hot and delicious. The other staff are very inattentive and do not really want to help you. We stayed for 3 nights and we were told to put our ā€œneeds serviceā€ door hanger on the knob if we wanted our room freshened. On the 2nd morning of our stay, we put our ā€œneeds serviceā€ door hanger out and left by 10:00am and didnā€™t return back until 4:00pm. The room had not been touched. We had no towels, no soap. We ran into Brian and asked if service was still coming and he said that they had left for the day. We asked why our room wasnā€™t cleaned and he said, ā€œI donā€™t know, they must have missed it.ā€ How do you miss an entire room? He offered no remedy, no apology, just ā€œIā€™ll get you towelsā€. We want the services we are paying for not just towels. The online reviews were mostly positive, and not representative of the stay we had. The area is sketchy, the security guard had an altercation with a homeless man outside our window in the pool area on our second night. We did not feel safe. Also the room was in disrepair. The bath faucet only trickled and everything was rusty, dirty and dilapidated. The ceiling had a mushroom growing Out of the ceiling over the bed.

Charming getaway
I love traveling places that feel like a step back in time without losing modern day necessities. The mansion has been well maintained. It was such a tranquil, relaxing experience. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met. Brian was great! He greeted us upon arrival and made sure our room was setup to our liking. Later in our stay he checked in again to make sure we were still satisfied and didn't need anything. Although the location is not in the center of action in the quarter, it's a short walking distance to everything. I love being tucked away when I don't want to be right in the middle of the action. I'll definitely return for my next trip to NOLA!

The mansion is beautiful but the room we stayed in was noisy and bright. We could not sleep with how bright the room was and around 1a a motorcycle with a stereo rolled by and it woke us up. We eventually left for other accommodations in the middle of the night.

Had a great 6 night stay celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. Hotel is best described as a boutique hotel. Old house from 1836 on the edge of the French Quarter.Not suitable for the infirm as it has many steps. Easy walking distance and in a safe neighborhood. Staff- especiallyBrian and Nathaniel were so helpful. Breakfast was plentiful only criticism was that the food was the same every day. Would love to return one day!
