Very cute hotel with wonderful staff. Comfortable bed, nicely updated room (we stayed in 214). Our goal was to be close to the activity area of New Orleans, and this location was perfect for that. The valet parking service was much appreciated. This location is not quiet, but one should assume that this area is not a quiet place anyway. The street car was easy to use and gave us a chance to rest our legs. I recommend this lovely hotel experience if you want to be close to the French Quarter and Garden District.

Our room was facing Canal St, near Bourbon St. - that had its pros and cons. Staff were exceptional! I don’t understand the small beds in a huge room. The room was clean and bright.

Awesome stay right in the middle of New Orleans.
The staff David gave us a warm welcome when we arrived, and gave us several room options for privacy and peace, as the hotel is situated in a bustling corner. We had a inner room to be away from the noise, in spite of its prime location and it was a perfect choice for us. The increase of price of valet from $45 to $50 was a last minute increase which was not communicated in advance. The room is clean and newly renovated. Everything was great other than the TV, which David has warned us and gave us troubleshooting methods. Overall it's a great st

Overall our stay was pretty great! Staff was great and the location was PERFECT. I did noticed we were given a queen room, when we paid for a king but nothing to complain about. Also, there were no windows in our room and that was not only disappointing but somewhat disorienting. Either way, I still highly recommend based on staff, location and safety!

Splendid location, modern & spacious rooms
A great find in a great location! Barely a year old, rooms still feel brand new, are spacious and tastefully decorated. Very comfortable beds and nice common terrace on second floor. Front desk and lobby bar staff where very friendly. However, lobby floorplan and décor not on par with smart room and hallway décor. I asked for a quiet room but got a room facing bustling Canal Street so requested a room change and got a room facing slightly quieter St. Charles Ave. However, single-pane windows still made for a fair amount of street noise. Given that I requested it twice, not sure quiet rooms are possible. Other than that, a nice hotel, although no restaurant or room service and lobby bar not always open.

Pros Service, impeccable Security, the locked front door gives a sense of safety being so close to Bourbon Street Rooms, spacious and immaculately clean Cons The photos are misleading. Got a double with no views and a fake window. Why the heck is there a fake window? Table has a note that offers complimentary bottled water but no bottles. Should you accidentally stop at the Rubenstein shop valet space, they'll look at you like dirt if you're casually dressed and wave you away. It's all owned by the same people. Definitely a clean, well maintained, and the security. Doors are locked that only customers are allowed in which made it feel safer. Not just anyone can walk in the hotel. The staff was attentive because it’s a small hotel feel and very nice! I’m a traveler and this I will say is the best place I’ve stayed in!

Hidden Gem Right Off Canal Street
The staff, especially Dave, the manager, was really friendly and informative. The room was clean and spacious. Decor was pretty basic and our room didn't have a window, but that wasn't a big deal. The room was ready early when we arrived, which made up for that one minor thing. Location was great; right off Canal Street with lots of things to do in close proximity. I would definitely stay there again.

The manager is the best part about this hotel. That being said, the hotel is awesome! David is warm and friendly and welcoming to everyone who passes through the lobby. He makes sure everyone knows he is there to help and makes sure they enjoy their stay. The hotel is clean and well appointed and the bar is a great spot to meet other guests and enjoy conversation. You will not be disappointed in your stay!
