We have stayed here several times but it has been a few years since the last time. This stay wasn't the best. Our hotel carpet smelled like dog and the bathroom smelled like wet dog. There was no vent in the bathroom to help with the smell either. We did notice a lot of guests with pets on the elevators and in the lobby so I guess it’s a pet friendly hotel and we had a room where a family with a dog stayed. Our room only had three towel sets which was frustrating when trying to get ready for bed late at night after being out in the city all day. The bed wasn’t as comfortable as we remembered. It was pretty hard. We were expecting the Westin heavenly bed that we were used to. The staff was extremely nice and welcoming. The resort fee went to food and beverage which was nice. We used it for a late night dessert after our Polar Express train. The location of the hotel is excellent. I just wish our room didn’t smell, we had at least 4 towel sets, and the bed was softer…

Great hotel with beautiful views.The only issue was a spot on a sheet and we had them changed. Great location, adjacent to Canal Place. Friendly and helpful staff. The bar was crowded, but the drinks and views were good.

Excellent stay!
Beautiful hotel that was walking distance from all of the hotspots! We loved the stay. Beds were comfortable, service was amazing, hotel staff was great! We are already planning to return to New Orleans and we will be staying at this same hotel again. Next time we will bring the whole family!

The property is getting a bit tired. The noise from trains overnight and their horns was an issue. But they supply air plugs. There is a destination fee which makes you use a $30 credit there each day. But it doesn’t quite cover a breakfast for two. Bed was comfortable. Location excellent for walking the French quarter and it is nice coming in from all the history to something visually less stimulating
