Historic Hudson Valley Farmhouse

Our charming 1890s farmhouse is full of natural light and good vibes! Very close to downtown New Paltz and Rosenadale, to the Shawangunk Mountains, Minnewaska State Park, and Mohonk Mountain, and across from the Walkill Valley Rail Trail. Our two peaceful acres boast a farm pond, fruit trees, and sit on the Walkill River. There are four bedrooms, a kitchen, dining and living room. There is a wood burning stove and lots of cozy places to sit and enjoy the views of the property!

Things to note:

Parts of the outdoor space are shared with an adjacent property. While VRBO house guests have exclusive access to the large deck overlooking the pond, some areas of the two acres are shared with guests of the cottage, next door. Both houses are dog friendly but please keep dogs on leash at all times.

If you are interested in renting our adjacent house, a cottage, please contact us.

A 19th century farmhouse with original features such as slanting wood floors. The front of the house is close to the road. The back of the property is on the Walkill river. We did not receive any check in information so i proceeded to contact owner. She then responded 1 hour before our checkin time that the house had serious damage and they would not be able to rent it. We were had already driven 3 hours and were almost there. Fortunately we were able to find a home through another company. Beware

Weekend in New Paltz
We had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse, Erin is an outstanding host! We arrived from PA a bit early, she made sure the house was ready for us. The Farmhouse is like stepping back in time, very quaint with a rustic feel. It’s very well stocked, no detail was missed. There was plenty of room for our family, our 2 college aged kids joined us from MA. It was the perfect meeting spot for a weekend of downtime, catching up in front of the wood burning stove, listening to jazz on the turntable. And best of all, home cooked meals! We will definitely rent again!
