We are proud to offer you our circa 1850 stone farmhouse. This historic Pennsylvania home has a private setting in the heart of southern Lancaster County's Amish country. In fact, many of the neighboring farms belong to Amish families. It is situated on a immaculate 50 acre working horse farm which offers you the unique ability to experience the tranquility of the country without giving up any of the modern conveniences you rely on. Relax pool side while watching peacefully grazing horses at pasture or listening to the brisk cadence of Amish buggies rolling by. Enjoy the experience of a leisurely walk through the landscape of the farm where you can glean a true appreciation of authentic country living. This stunning farmhouse boasts many modern conveniences such as 4 large TVs, high-speed Internet, 2 huge master bedrooms with their own private baths, plus the 3rd full bath was totally remodeled in 2022. A Stay Near Lancaster

Our stay was wonderful. The property owners were super responsive and provided detailed information from the booking until checkout. The communications were very friendly and welcoming. The property is just spectacular. We were blown away with how beautifully the house was maintained both inside and outside. The property was fully ready with everything anyone could possibly need. It was like staying at home but better! The owners provided great resources and guides as well. They thought of everything. If we could give more than 5 stars we would. We absolutely recommend this property for a peaceful beautiful getaway!

Amazing Stay!!
We LOVED our 3 night stay at this property. We were there celebrating my husband's birthday with friends and family and I could not have asked for a better place to stay. The home has everything you could need to cook and share a meal. I made guacamole one evening and went looking the the kitchen drawers for a lemon/lime juicer and found one! Was not expecting the property to be so well stocked, but it was definitely appreciated by everyone. The home was clean and comfortable and tucked away in a quaint country location (watch out for those Amish buggies at night, haha!). I loved that there was enough room for all of us to sleep comfortably (4 bedrooms plus the basement had a pull out couch). We made use of the firepit and were very thankful the owners had firewood on-hand, fire starters, and even s'more sticks for the kiddos to use. I loved sipping coffee each morning while looking out front windows to see the horses be let out for the day. The kiddos LOVED the playing on the outdoor swings and checking out the creek at the back of the property. Communication before our stay with the owners was great. We didn't need anything while we were there but I know they would have been responsive if we did. I cannot recommend this place enough if you are looking for a gorgeous, low-key place to relax and hang out with friends and family. I can definitely see myself coming back here, especially in the summer to also enjoy the pool.

Spacious and Peaceful
We had an amazing stay in Wanda's farmhouse. The house was very spacious and our kids especially loved the basement area where they could play games and the beautiful backyard where they played and had an Easter egg hunt. My husband needed to do a little bit of work while we were there and found the office perfect for his needs. We couldn't get enough of waking up to the peaceful sounds of the creek nearby, the birds chirping, and watching the horses in the pasture as well as buggies go by. Our kids will never forget that! The hostess had left a welcome basket with coffee and snacks as well as a very comprehensive guidebook to the house and area. There were plenty of cooking utensils and two large tables inside for family meals. The area is very quiet, yet close to a few grocery stores and the farmhouse was a great home base from which to explore Lancaster and Hershey. We had a restful and peaceful getaway and would love to return soon!

Amazing getaway!
My group of 12 - from an infant to grandparents and all ages in between - had an incredible time here. Lyndsay was extremely helpful ahead of time, answering all my questions practically immediately. The house was beautiful and spacious, with a lovely kitchen and a dining room where we could all sit together. The pool was phenomenal (one small tip - the bottom is concrete, so if your kiddos have sensitive feet, consider bringing water shoes). We loved having a shaded area to sit in while the kids were playing. The sunroom got a ton of use - the kids were in there any time they weren’t in the pool, and the grownups liked it too, especially during the cooler mornings and evenings. We were already talking about another trip for next year before we left! Can’t recommend this property enough!

Family vacation
The vacation home was perfect for a large family group vacation. The spacious kitchen was one of our favorite rooms to gather and share conversations, while preparing meals. Of course all enjoyed the pool! When we had some rainy days, everyone seemed to find things to do; enjoying arts and crafts in the sun porch, playing games at the extra large dining table or just relaxing with family in the living room and family room. We definitely give this vacation family farm house a 5 STAR rating.

This property is amazing. It is exactly as described, but better. Photos do not do it justice. All the small decor touches makes it feel like home. Everyone we had contact with were very nice and helpful. We traveled there to attend a wedding, but if we ever have the need for lodging in that area again we will be sure to book this home again. This house was the perfect place to celebrate a family Christmas with my adult children. The kitchen was exactly the right size for a casual breakfast and prep space for making Italian gravy, and the huge dining room table was the site of our games, dinner and gift exchange. We loved seeing the horses and thoroughly enjoyed the rural quiet of the farm. Thank you to the hosts for leaving all their holiday decorations up for us!

Great place to relax and enjoy family time
This farm is in the perfect location out in the country but not far from restaurants, grocery stores and CVS. The house was perfect for 3 couples and a 3 year old; kitchen is fully stocked and there's plenty of room for everyone to relax, read, watch TV or play games. Wanda and Lyndsay are wonderful hosts always available to answer any question we had. Thank you both! We highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again. If you just arrive and need a place to have breakfast or lunch BrickHouse Coffee & Kitchen is great very close to the farm. And for the best pretzels visit Countryside Roadstand just a few miles away.

Beautiful and relaxing vacation
We had a wonderful sister weekend getaway. The house is lovely and very clean with more than enough room for everyone. The grounds are stunning and we thoroughly enjoyed roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. The view of the horses and the cutest goats really made the trip. I would highly recommend this property.

This home exceeded my expectations. The location was centrally located to all attractions in the Lancaster area. The horse farm was gorgeous and seeing the horses in the morning with a cup of coffee a great addition to the day. I will definitely be back with grandkids.

A Hidden Gem
This property is one of a kind. It is a beautiful old stone home, well maintained, with lots of amenities. All of the rooms are beautifully decorated and up to date. The property is located on a horse farm so we were able to talk to the horses. There were walking paths with goats and they were a delight. With a pool, fire pit area, and several outdoor seating areas with picnic tables, this is the ideal place for family or friends to gather. The owner was a delight to communicate with and everything was in order when we arrived. I highly recommend this property any time of the year, but especially when the pool is open. Lots of beautiful country side and great little places to visit. Travel to Lititz for coffee and shopping - a great little town.

Gorgeous Property
This is our second year staying at this property, and it continues to exceed expectations. The home is beautiful, the kitchen large and well-equipped, and the pool area(where we spent most of our time), perfect. The house is close enough to everything in the area (Lancaster, Strasburg, etc.), but still feels like you are on your own private farm. Wanda and Lyndsay are great hosts, easy to communicate with, and always accessible if you need anything.

Cool pool for hot days in early August
The pool was the highlight! Everyone enjoyed it! Because we had a person test positive for covid, the screened in porch was a life saver. It was hot, hot, HOT the week we were there, so the fan above the picnic table was perfect!
