I am a regular at the Ace hotel in Brooklyn. This visit was no different from previous ones (very comfortable and room, lovely breakfast options downstairs, location that meets my needs) except for the service I received at checkout. The attendant seemed annoyed that I asked for a receipt for my stay, told me that I would get it later in the day and seemed upset when I insisted that I wanted to see it while I was there. I’m still waiting for the receipt, four hours after checking out.

Staff was helpful and amicable. Rooms were comfortable, dark and quiet with nice pillows. Sheets could have been softer. But overall we slept well here. The lobby is also a fun bar environment.
