From the moment we walked thru the doors we were pleasantly greeted by the staff. Front desk Karen/ Diane ? And Zach were so welcoming. Check in was quick and efficient! Very nice and clean room. Lovely touch to have a fridge and water. Great surprise to get welcome cocktails and food credits. Great recommendation to have apps and cocktails upstairs at Dear Irving. Fabulous view and complimentary birthday dessert! Service was excellent! Arrived back to our room and had a bottle of champagne and a small box of chocolates to celebrate my besties birthday. What a fabulous surprise! Can’t begin to thank the staff for their hospitality, special accommodations and overall service!

The room was great, bathroom big and clean. Near theater district so traffic was crazy, and the crowd near the hotel was trying to sell you something. Overall we felt safe. don’t do the valet parking book something at a local lot. It will cut down on time and irritation.

Beautiful property inside. Front staff and restaurant staff were very courteous and accommodating. Wide variety for breakfast (eggs, bagels, chocolate croissants, bacon, potatoes etc.) and coffee is super good The room was a good size and it was a quick check-in and check out. Would definitely stay here again! Only thing is outside ofcourse there’s going to be some suspicious people and homeless people nothing you can do about it.

If you care about a good comfy bed and quality sleep, this IS NOT the hotel for you. Both double beds had a terrible dip, completely overused mattress. My husband woke up both mornings with back pain. Breakfast is poor to say the very least- $23/pp and very poor options. Kids pay the same price as adults ( guess they have to make up for the one free breakfast per room- ridiculous!) oh, make sure you check your receipt when you check out as I got billed for one of the days I was there while I had already payed Expedia for the entire stay ahead of time ( upon booking).

Aliz was a great place to stay while in NYC. Not overly big rooms but was a good hotel, nice friendly staff, close to everything and overall a great place.

Very clean and well taken care of property. Parking is hard; however, they offer valet parking which requires an hour of notice in order to get the car back. The air conditioning unit was a little loud and changes to the temperature adjustments were a bit of an issue. Overall a great place to stay that is close to the bus terminal and a few blocks from Times Square.

DO NOT accept a room on a High Floor! NOISE
In NYC for one night only. Checked in at about 5 and left for dinner immediately. Back at 11 and there was a very loud rooftop bar above our room on the 39th floor. It was in full swing with very loud music and a lot of base. There was no way we were going to be able to sleep. I asked for a refund and was told that everyone knows there is a rooftop bar in the hotel. We were offered to move to a lower floor…no king bed. Knowing we would not be able to sleep, we opted to check out and return home….a 3 hour drive! Not happy and felt there was no empathy for our situation. I would appreciate contact from the manager.
