My friends and I stayed for 4 nights and we loved it! The Chelsea area feels very safe, especially for three young women. The staff answered all our questions and were very nice and helpful :-) Our room was clean and the AC worked well. Would definitely come back and stay if I ever visit NYC again!

It was a great stay at the Chelsea Inn. Room was clean, AC worked amazing for the hot weekend, bathroom was very clean. It was in the perfect location as we did all of the tourist attractions that we want and it was central to everything. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends and family!

It is what it is, a bed and a bathroom in the Village. If you are looking for a regular hotel room this is not it. It is tiny and crampt with no place to sit, I was solo,two people it would be extremly tight. But you are in the village,thats what you are paying for. There are no real amenities at the property but lots of places around it. It is clean and the bed is comfortable. I have stayed in hotels all over Europe and this is the smallest one in 35 years. That said a regular size room in the area will be easily twice the price. The rooms get cheaper the farther out you get and that adds its own problems. They charge what the market will bear and the market is high, its New York...

Decent property-relatively quiet. They said that there was no staff on property, but they were there most of the time..a painting crew was in most of the tight hallways with ladders. No elevator
