Definitely NOT a 4-star hotel!!! Reasons why not: Old and dingy Key cards demagnetize repeatedly No bar, restaurant, room service Old, tiny elevators No exercise room or spa Sink hole in bathroom floor Dirty walls Foul Odor No hot breakfast The only good thing about this hotel is its location. Very convenient but 2 stars at best. Grossly overpriced - should be a budget hotel. Will not stay there ever again.

The only thing I’m annoyed about is that they said the $200 deposit would be refunded at the end of the stay and it hasn’t been. So I would not trust this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay overall. We had a couple minor issues when checking in. It was very busy when we entered and the lobby is extremely small. When we got to our rooms one bed was broken and one water was left open and put back in mini bar. I let the staff know and they fixed the bed quickly. I wasn’t charged for the water, but it wasn’t removed or replaced. The breakfast area was nice. Enjoyed the fancy latte and cappuccino maker. The motel is very noisy, but it’s near all the action of Times Square during Christmas so we expected that: sirens, constant honking of horns, music playing, etc. The bathrooms and rooms are older than they appear in photos, but some of the extras were nice like the robes in the bathrooms. There is an additional $25 per night fee not charged by Expedia. They have a doorman and suggestions for restaurants and transportation.

English and Spanish speaking staff. After check out at 12pm, you can leave your belongings at the hotel, they will give you a ticket, return , and pick them up, walk 8 minutes to Grand Central Station and take the train to JFK airport!!!

Hotel is conveniently located and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was good, better than most. Our room (202) was okay but not in the best condition. There were soft spots in the floor in bathroom and the entrance to bathroom, felt as if I could push my foot through if I tried. We also could not get the heat to work properly as the windows were very drafty (25° outside). Called for blankets and she brought us 5 waters too. Overall, good for the price and what we needed (3 kids).

I liked the grab-and-go breakfast. The room was clean and surprisingly quiet. The location was conveniently close to Rockefeller , 5th Avenue, and Time Square, I would recommend to work on faster elevator if possible. Also a clear container/tap for the minibar would help to make a better use of the closet and not having my belongings bumping into the products.

Excellent location, but some maintenance issues (broken bed frame, keys randomly needing rekeying and elevator service issues), and not super clean, but very walkable to all major attractions and helpful staff who fixed issues as they arose. For the money, a good value.

The staff was excellent, but the room was disappointing. When we arrived, the heat was set to 77°F and didn't come down, even after we turned down the thermostat. Since the hotel was fully booked, we couldn’t switch rooms, and they had to bring us a fan instead. Additionally, the phone in the room didn’t work, and a screw from the bathroom door hardware fell off when my daughter closed it. Despite these issues, the staff remained very friendly and accommodating. They even provided a discount on our bill to address the inconveniences, which we appreciated.
