Room was congested, Air conditioning unit is just 10 inches from bed, where the air hit directly into the sleeping persons body. The closet door was broken, it took 3 days to fix it. Front desk is not friendly, no greeting when you check in. What I feel most bad, I was carrying drinking water in my hand waiting for elevator and it was not working, after 5 min I have asked the front desk is you elevator working? She replied no, go to level B and take stairs, they should put a notice on elevator door. One elevator is not sufficient for this hotel. I have stayed in 3 different Marriotts in last 10 days in USA, but this location is worst.

The hotel was close to LaGuardia. Public transit bus to the subway and LIRR was nearby. There was a 15 minute walk to nearby Salvadoran and Italian restaurants. The complimentary breakfast was plentiful.

One day no room clean service
The room was a perfect size for the 3 of us. However the room was not serviced on our first night/following day - Friday. So no clean towels. We spent all day in NYC so got back very late so couldn’t complain to the front desk to get the room cleaned.

For the small local venue it's accommodations, especially the beds were comfortable for me and the staff was very kind and helpful. Much mahalo to tia/aunty Raquel Dubon for her guidance on the city and getting me a shuttle. I don't know if I ever will return to New York or Flushing but my expectations were exceeded all due to the people there.

I made a reservation through Expedia. I arrived at the hotel on time. My reservation was not honored due to an overbooking situation in the hotel that evening. I was told I would receive a full refund. I am yet to see a refund on my credit card. If I don’t see one in the next day or so, I am going to complain to Marriott Headquarters, BBB, and the FTC.
