Great Location, Horrible Service
We loved the location of the hotel and the room was very spacious. However, the bad outweighed the good for this trip! We were supposed to check-in at 4:00pm, but did not receive a room until after 7:00pm, so we had to miss out on our NYC plans for that evening (and we had made a reservation for our hotel room MONTHS PRIOR to our trip). They charged my credit card TWICE the amount of the original price for our stay and did nothing about it until the final day of our trip (this was after asking them MULTIPLE TIMES to fix it), and finally the toilet in our room DID NOT WORK for the first 24 HOURS of our trip (I had to ask the front desk 3 TIMES for someone to fix it). Overall, nice looking hotel and rooms, but not worth all of the hassle! Would recommend finding a different hotel in that same area.

The service and property were extremely disappointing. Upon arrival on January 1, there was no staff at the entrance to guide us, and the person we asked for help ignored us. Check-in was disorganized, with a 20–25 minute wait in the lobby and no explanation for the delay. The staff was rude, dismissive, and unhelpful when asked about unexpected charges like resort fees and processing fees. Once we accessed our room, there were no clear directions on using the elevator, and the room itself was poorly maintained—no extra bedding for our daughter, no towels or soap, and an overall unkempt appearance. The only positive aspect was the fast elevators, but that hardly made up for the overall unpleasant experience.

Direct access to Grand Central was nice! The hotel itself and staff were great. A few glitches with the room but it was taken care of with no issues. Do yourself a favor and ask about the Commodore Lounge at check-in; it's an extra charge but well worth the money!
