Parking before the hotel and to get out of car and unload luggage is a challenge as this street is busy and the traffic does not stop and unless you are a New Yorker you will be sitting in the car forever to find the right time

Homeless people sleeping on sidewalk a few feet from entrance of hotel. The rooms in the hotel are in great need of renovation. The carpet looks as if it’s been there since the hotel was built. Shower curtain was also gross in need of replacement. Chest of drawers was missing top draw. Can’t believe that they actually charge $400 plus a night during the holiday season.

No Human Compassion
I had a life changing emergency occur and was unable to keep my reservation. When I tried to get a refund, the hotel denied it. Now. This charge that we did not even stay, will create an unexpected hardship on my family. I understand policies, but where is the human compassion? Terrible experience.

Disappointing check-in
At check-in, a gentleman (front desk employee) seemed inconvenienced by helping me. I was assigned a room, and asked if there was one on a higher floor and with a better view. He told me no. I went up, checked the room, was dissatisfied, came back down and then spoke with a young lady (another front desk employee) who was able to accommodate my request of a higher floor and better view. Disappointed with my initial interaction and the gentelman's unwillingness to accommodate my request. The remainder of the short stay was completely fine.

The staff was very welcoming.The front desk had a room for me at 12 pm soon as i landed in New York City.The property was near everything and literally 5 blocks from Time Square and 4 blocks from Madison Square Garden.The rooms were cleaned and cozy.The bartender was also awesome.Definitely will be back .I traveled for my daughter’s 18 birthday and she loved it
