Great spot down in the LES. Awesome views from the upper floor or restaurant. Staff are super friendly and it's perfectly located to LES, Soho and the metro. The only thing is that it is super loud on the weekends with the club.

IHG attempting to be hip. But they are a chain and the vibe doesn't translate through corporate channels unfortunately. Purple - the night club/day resto ROCKS at nite and is a good space during the day (great views so-so food service), but the overall attempt by the property to be Lower East Side 'hio' is too contrived. I would stay there again - nothing bad to say, just 'average' for the price.

Love the building and vibe. Friendly service and staff. Noisy on lower floors as close to street level. Shame the coffee wasn’t generously provided and had to ask for top up each day. Be prepared for $150 per day credit card hold charge to room for “amenities” as well as the ‘resort’ fee then only given $10 a day in room credit.

The manager was so kind. We traveled as a family of three with our 11 month old. We booked a room on one of the higher floors, and the manager held another room for us for the first night in case we wanted to move since there was going to be noise from the club below. It ended up being just fine, but the thought was so considerate.

If you're interested in actually sleeping, this hotel is not for you. I'll admit, I was remiss in not noticing that there was a nightclub on the 14th floor of the hotel. So depending on where your room is located, you may be in for a night of a thumping bass so loud and intrusive that the room actually vibrates. While it was tolerable on our Friday night stay, on Saturday night the sound was so loud and disruptive until 3:30AM that I never slept until close to 4AM. I would never stay here again. I don't understand how a hotel can offer you a place to sleep at $350 per night and then totally deprive you of the ability to sleep.
