My wife and I went into the city to visit family. The hotel was fine. Our room was a little dated but clean. Breakfast was minimal. Coffee, tea, cereal, oats, bagels and cheese etc. I wasn't expecting any more than that anyway. My wife and I travel quite a bit and we depend of reviews. Sometimes I read reviews that make me think we're booking a hell hole. 99% of the time they turn out to be fine hotels. This was one of those times. It was a good value for the money.

Quaint hotel by Penn station and Harold Square. We really enjoyed our room and the location was perfect to get anywhere we needed to go.

It was a great surprise, the hotel is walking distance to a lot of attractions and the subway. Staff was great, customer service was great too, the helped us with luggage storage before check in and after our checkout, also they booked a lux transport to JFK. Overall, would definitely come back and recomend it.

Overall this hotel is okay. Area is convenient and good transit access. But it’s in bad need of updates - bathroom was freezing / window needs to be replaced with double panes for the winter and the shower took forever to heat up. I guess you get what you pay for

The location of this property was great, especially around Christmas as it's right by Macy's. Koreatown has great food options. What wasn't great is some of the outdated features, small elevator, not great breakfast, and the heat was not working. When we returned to our room one of the days it was 85 degrees in our room and the entire hallway was just as hot. It made no difference if you turned the heat off. We had to open the windows in December and there were no screens. Also the view was a brick wall of the neighboring building

Holiday stay at the Hotel Stanford
Overnight stay during the Christmas week holiday and chose the Hotel Stanford for its proximity to the Garden and midtown. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.
