This hotel is not ready for paying customers. It clearly opened earlier than it should have. To wit, the room was missing a desk (or even a table), chair, extra toilet paper roll, coffee, coffee maker, cups, bedside table, and lamp. The broken was replaced by another broken lamp. AC is down, but they did provide a fan. The stool is broken and only useful as a door prop. That said, they have a lovely courtyard concept, private outdoor area at each room, and it was very clean. The woman on desk duty the night of 10/23 did what she could to help, only after an owner and a staff member both failed in doing so. It is clear that they rushed to open and they need to finish buying furniture, figure out the service, and give the staff the tools they need. The front desk staff are bearing the brunt of dissatisfied guests and it's really affecting them. I would only stay here again with the assurance that they are fully functioning, and with a sincere apology.

I wasn’t sure what to expect, and was blown away by how awesome everything was. Great location, and very nice staff. The room was a really nice size as well. I didn’t take a lot of time to explore the building, but it was perfect for what I needed it for.

Overall - Meh
The customer service is wonderful but the environment leaves much to be desired. The room had a cavity where you would expect a fridge, it did not have anywhere to hang our things, and during our stay the fire alarm went off multiple times through out the evening from Saturday into Sunday. Additionally, they have not invested in sound proofing against the club next door.

I wouldn’t recommend this place, they turned off the A/C. The first room we got smelled like smoke and cigars. As they were able to switch our room, but it was 78-79 degrees in the room. It wasn’t till we complained that they did something about it. No human could’ve fell a sleep in those conditions. I think the management needs to do better, and start thinking about the customers first!

This hotel has a great location, close to everything, and it's clear they are eager to improve with ongoing remodeling. We stayed on the third floor and enjoyed a quiet night's sleep without needing earplugs. However, several areas need improvement: the bathroom lacks a fan, the shower doesn't shut completely, and the AC in our room was ineffective. Additionally, the signage can be confusing; although it's the Hudson Yards Hotel, it's labeled as "boutique," which may create a questionable vibe. Updating the signage would greatly enhance the guest experience.

Upon arrival our room did not lock, which delayed our departure for an important event. The staff did not respond quickly nor communicate well as to when the situation may be rectified (thought it was fixed later that evening). The main lamp in the room did not work as there was no working plug behind it. The bathroom is barely separate from the main room, with a sliding door that also did not work properly. We paid way too much for this property which is a one-star accommodation at best.

Good stay.
Pleasantly surprised with our stay overall. Nice staff, nice accommodations, good location. Was thinking it would be a poor choice but was willing to take the risk for the price. Turned out to be great. Room overlooked the street and was clean and remodeled. We both thought the bed was very comfortable. No bells and whistles but who needs that—you’re in NY! Get out and enjoy it.

First off, the room was kind of horrible. Our towels were tattered, there was only one roll of toilet paper, we asked for extra pillows and we were told they would be up in about 15 minutes and they never came, I had to get dressed and go down to the front desk BECAUSE THERE WAS NO PHONE IN THE ROOM!!! What if there was an emergency and we needed assistance??????. The soap was as big as a small matchbox, there was no hair dryer, barely any lighting in the "living area".. AND lastly no amenities, no consession area for us to get a snack, a drink of ANYTHING or Advil etc.... Honestly, we will most likely NEVER go to this hotel ever again..

1) didn’t have a phone in my room, or a safe, and I didn’t even have heat! There was a big hole in the the window of my room where they just put a block of wood in the Center of it to close it off, but you could still see the crack to the left which was blowing air from the outside! It wasn’t fully sealed. Also freezing in the room and no option for heat! 2) No door knob hanger to imply that I did NOT want housekeeping. Since I did not have a safe for my belongings, I wanted to keep others out of my room. I always give garbage and towels when need. One time I came back to my room after telling them I did not want housekeeping, and my door was LEFT OPEN! I was pissed! the next day I reiterate AGAIN that I did not want anyone in my room, the blonde staff member at the desk says ya no problem I’ll tell them. I come back to my room around 4pm to all my garbages emptied. 3) third night I had taken a shower, I was sitting on the bed in my towel, all of a sudden I hear my door open then close. I jumped up and thought who the heck is trying to get into my room! I hear talking and then I hear the key fob on my door going off repeatedly. I jump up and ask “hello??” And management is on the other side saying “hi sorry we are testing key fobs.” You guys should be alerting hotel guests of this BEFORE you open their door! As a young female who was there alone, this was scary! And was completely unacceptable! I will be speaking to owner shortly about all of this. I won’t stay here again
