The lobby rug was old and dirty. Our room had paint peeling off the shower ceiling in several areas. The beverage prices were obscene ($9 for a ginger ale soda). At check out they mistakenly charged to our room $235 in bar beverages and food. It took me a several calls to rectify the matter after I arrived home. At check out I called for baggage assistance but no one ever came. A storied past does not excuse you for providing great service today.

Great updated room. Clean, quiet and comfortable. TV did not work, but we weren’t there long enough to make it a priority. And one light was broken. Hence the 4 star rating for facility. Dominik Kancesme ( front desk manager) was extremely patient and helpful when we had a problem with our 3rd party reservation.

Overall, this is a great hotel to stay at. The rooms were spacious and well appointed, close to everything. My only comment is the coffee service in the lobby in the morning needs to run better. There should be a line for coffee and a line for the restaurant. It took too long to get a cup of coffee in the lobby. But other than that, great hotel!
