The property is fun and has a nice restaurant with great views of the city. The room was pricey and just ok as far as convenience. There was no coffee maker and the restaurant didn’t open until 7, so if you need coffee early you’ll have to go somewhere to get it. The shower has either a rain shower head(which woman don’t like because we don’t want to always get our hair wet) it did have an alternate shower head that was hand held but very awkward. It’s mounted on the side of the wall and there’s no way to get in the water stream. Water goes all over the floor regardless of which shower head you use. The bed was ok. I probably would not stay here again given the cost and lack of things we need to have.

The rooms were good. The view was great. The music in the lounge was too loud at night to enjoy sitting there, but you could easily leave if it wasn't your thing.

Booked us in the wrong room. And took 45 minutes to get into the room after my sister got stuck on the 16th floor and they took 45 minutes to get someone to the floor. I was told for the inconvenience for her and me being disabled getting sick from having to go up and down the elevator trying to get someone to help even after they said they were sending someone to help several times. Also ruined down inside.

I do NOT recommend this hotel. We were charged a very large fee because a “smoke sensor” detected smoke. No one in my party smokes, at all. The hotel staff says they cannot do anything about it, and its a 3rd party company that uses the sensors. Theres dozens of similar reviews like this on google as well. Be warned.

The hotel location is great but the room itself was not worth what we paid ( average of $440 per night for a Friday to Tuesday stay). The room was small which was ok but there were no places to put items, especially in the bathroom. Very noisy. Elevator sounds and plumbing sounds starting at 6 am or earlier. The room was dimly lit. There was no bathroom fan so the room was quite humid after a quick shower. Staff were pleasant and the location is great but the two seperate elevator banks made things awkward at busy times in the morning.

The hotel was fine and its location were excellent. However, the $40 per night destination fee, which I knew about when booking, negatively impacted the overall experience. It felt like an extra charge added purely for additional profit. It would be more transparent and fair to include this fee in the room rate. It gave the impression of a tactic similar to those used by budget airlines to attract customers.

I would recommend this hotel and stay here again. The sound-proofing of the rooms was excellent - which was extremely necessary. I found the decor comfortable and modern. The room is well-appointed, I slept extremely well. They have a very convenient convenience store by the lobby, and an equally convenient drugstore occupying the corner of the building. Definitely became a home away from home and a sanctuary for me. A few cons - the staff could've been friendlier at times. Some people - like some of the bartenders and the housekeepers - were stellar. Some, like servers and hosts, were sometimes put out. Be aware that you are almost on top of Times Square, and while that's better than being in Times Square, the Square is a circle of Hell. And you're going to feel yourself riding the elevators in your sleep because this hotel is strictly vertical. Shoutouts to the nicest staff - the tall, European bartender/server with a beard, the early shift, weekday bartender who'd been in New York 25 years as of Halloween, and the sweet blonde housekeeper with curly hair on floor 31. Ya'll took great care of me.
