The Night Hotel will do the job if you’re not planning on spending much time at the hotel. Staff weren’t the friendliest, place wasn’t the cleanest. In saying that, it was in a good location, just out of the way of the chaos, but a 5 min subway ride or walk through Central Park from it.

I liked the spaciousness of the room (for NYC) and bathroom. The place is well-lit and freshly painted with new-looking carpet, but the carpet inside the walking closet Is quite dirty. Unlike the bedroom proper, It is unvacuumed and unshampooed.

Unclean hotel! Cigarette burns in the carpet! Extremely loud AC. Room was very small. Felt like a fire trap.

Overall a good hotel for the price in the city. It’s a typical NYC building that is dated and old with the walls, trim, and carpet/floors not in the best condition. But the room was clean. The location is good being right by a subway stop, food joints, and Duane Reade in case you forgot any travel essentials. I would stay at this hotel again in the future.

Nice efficient staff, clean comfy beds, good air conditioners, only “complaint” is there is just some rust in the bathtub, and some of the wall paper was peeling. Aside from that great budget stay would definitely come back for longer stays in nyc! Suuuper convenient right next to 96st metro and walgreens.

This property was close to the subway which was helpful for travelling the city. Blocks away from central park west. The property is dated , but clean. Friendly staff. Excellent taco place across the street , highly recommend. Good property if you are travelling on the cheap.

I don't think I've ever left a negative review in my life, but this was really not a positive experience. The hotel was very rundown. There were lots of stains on the walls and floor of the bathroom, the wallpaper was peeling. There were hairs in my bath when I first got there. The bath faucet leaked the whole time. The TV barely worked. And aside from that, there was just no hospitality to be seen. I asked the front desk for a spoon and they said, "We don't have spoons." I asked the front desk to change my card on file and the front desk guy asked, "Why?" and acted like this was the most ludacris request he'd ever heard and would not do it. The only positive thing I can say is that when a food delivery guy with questionable energy got in an elevator with me, one of the the security guards clocked him and hopped into the elevator with me too which was nice.
