Very comfortable and centrally located.
My daughter and I usually come to NYC for BF weekend to shop and see a Broadway show. This year we stayed at the Omni Berkshire Place because we wanted to closer to theater and shopping. The Omni is centrally located. The hotel has been renovated and the rooms are clean and very comfortable. It's 10 minutes from the Theater District and minutes from the Shops. Pricing is not much higher than if you stayed somewhere farther out. Service is great from the front desk to the doorman to room service. The elevators are locked so security is very high. I felt very safe there. I would definitely return.

Suite upgrade surprise
We booked a double bed room for a family trip to NYC. When our room was ready we were surprised when we walked into the FAO Schwarz suite on the top floor full of toys, our girls (9&11) lost their mind. This was a complete surprise and may be the most memorable part of our first family trip to NYC. I don't know who made the call for the upgrade, but it will be something we never forget!

Hotel.com's image of these luxury mid-town accommodations are misleading. Only the penthouse apartment has a balcony and views of the Berkshire Suite were of the service courtyard. I checked availability and price, and Hotels.com provided no significant savings at this location.

This is one of the best hotels in NYC. I’ve stayed twice and each time it was clean, the staff were very personable, and it’s so conveniently located that you can walk almost anywhere. The bar was welcoming and comfortable and everyone treated us like we were family. We can’t wait to stay again! This will be our only NYC hotel destination!

Great location and staff, otherwise average hotel
For a relatively expensive hotel, the facility was just OK (looked much nicer in the photos). It’s in a great location, and all of the staff are professional and nice. The room was not particularly luxurious or extra comfortable, but it met our needs for our stay in Manhattan.
